Poster Making Activity on World Elephant Day

World Elephant Day is an opportunity for everyone to get together to find various reasons causing danger to the world's elephant population. The day aims to educate people about elephants and the plight they face due to various threats. In order to spread knowledge about magnificent mammal, students made creative and informative posters to highlight the importance of elephants.

Activity on World Lion Day by Art n Craft students

To pay tribute to the most fearsome creature of animal kingdom, a Poster Making activity was conducted on 10th August to create awareness and gather support for lion conservation.

The day is dedicated to disseminate knowledge about declining of species and to discover multiple steps to protect the vulnerable. In order to rescue the big cats, students have done their bit by making thought provoking posters to raise their opinion to protect them from hunting, habitat loss and human wildlife conflict.

The activity not helped students to learn about various reasons of extinction of animals but developed concern and care towards animals.

Talk Session with Spic Macay

A well cultured and well-crafted Interactive Talk Session with Spic Macay was hosted by the school for all the students and teachers so that they may imbibe the rich culture and heritage of India. The demonstration of basket making, ring making etc. with bamboo, by the diligent artists Shri Harcharan Das and Mrs. Anita Das on 8 August 2021 at virtual platform enhanced and enriched learning among the students about the green gold Bamboo. They understood that during these climatic chaos conditions, Bamboo can be utilised in many ways in minimizing the use of plastic which can be a saviour in saving planet Earth.

This valuable Talk Session included different round of questions asked by the students of school. Sohini Mukherjee of class IX, Rudra Sharma of class XII along with other students as a co-host also put-up brainstorming queries about bamboo which were relevantly answered.

Our revered Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak conveyed her heartfelt thanks to the distinguished artists for their wonderful portrayal of bamboo art and also Spic Macay for giving platform to such artists who can inspire the students to be connected to Indian Art and Craft.

Thus, the session proved to be a great learning experience for all the teachers and students.

It was really great to imbibe knowledge about this precious green gold as they also learnt to have patience and be consistent while working with full dedication and concentration.

Celebration of Quit India Movement Day

To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Quit India Movement. And pay homage to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for their country, the students of MMPS brought the moments of this great event lively by depicting the struggle and sacrifice of freedom fighters.

Their posters rekindled the spirit of patriotism among all.

Friendship Day celebration by MMPians

Friends are the gems who will never leave you alone in any circumstance even if the whole world is acting against you. Having a true friend is one of the most precious gifts one can ever have in their life. Friendship day is observed around the world in order to give people an opportunity to express their feeling of love. Students expressed their love and gratitude for their friends by creating greetings, poems, friendship band, gifts with waste materials, songs. They also wrote 'Reasons for making friendship band for special one'.

PM Narendra Modi Addresses Nation on NEP 2020

On the occasion of the first anniversary of National Education Policy (NEP), Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Thursday, July 28,2021 at 4:30pm via video conferencing.

Teachers, students along with the parents also participated in the event to know the multiple initiatives launched by the Prime Minister.  The projects launched include an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) that will provide multiple entries and exit options for students in higher education, AI for ALL, an online course aimed at offering a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) for every citizen in the country, Vidya Pravesh- a three-month play-based school preparation module for Grade 1 students, Indian sign language(ISL) as a subject at secondary level and NISHTHA 2.0, an integrated teacher training programme designed by the NCERT.

Thus, everyone appreciated the initiatives taken by our respected Prime Minister for it will help in paving the way for transformational reforms in school and higher education systems to make India a global knowledge superpower.

World nature Conservation Day

To make students aware about importance of conservation of natural resources, World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated every year to encourage people to conserve natural resources for future generation. The day also highlight about profound effects of human activities leading to Deforestation, Degradation of Land, Soil Erosion etc.

Curious minds depicted their artistic skills by making colourful and informative posters to spread awareness about importance of sustainable use of natural resources. They also put forth their thoughts on how to make conscious efforts to conserve nature.

The activity helped in extending the boundaries of human knowledge about planet uncertainties and propelled them to safeguard the planet.

Mango Day Celebration by Pre-primary

Little MMPians of Grade 1, L.K.G & U.K.G celebrated Tangy, Sweet & Juicy MANGO DAY on 22nd July 21' with great enthusiasm. Kids were shown a beautiful PowerPoint Presentation & a wonderful movie on Mangoes. Children relished various delicacies made out of Mango. It was indeed a fun-loving day.

Eid Celebration by MMPians

Eid ul-Adha, the festival of sacrifice in Islam honours the willingness of Abraham to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of obedience to God's command. The festival teaches us to extend a helping hand to those in need. Students celebrated the festival with enough fervour and delight as they dressed up nicely, exchanged gifts, greetings, hugs and by spreading love, happiness, laughter, cheer and sweets!

Ice Cream Day Celebration by Pre-Primary kids

What's life without a little fun and what better way to add fun than ice cream?

Children of classes LKG, UKG and 1 celebrated National Ice cream Day on 16 July'21. Teachers discussed and told children about the Journey of Ice-cream through colourful and Informative PowerPoint presentation.

Children enjoyed eating different flavours of ice- cream & watched different cartoon movies on ICE- CREAM.
