Hands-on-Activity on Physical Features

To understand about different landforms such as mountains, plains, hills, valleys and how they are formed over the years, students of grade VII were involved in series of activities on virtual platform in order to practically understand the formation of different landforms.

Teacher made earnest efforts to make them comprehend the concept by showing different videos on natural physical features found on earth. These physical features are the result of natural phenomenon such as wind, water, ice and movement of tectonic plates.

Students learnt about such physical features by making diagrams, models and PPTs of different landforms. 

Thus, the activity was indeed beneficial for the students.

Poster Making on Say No to Plastic

In order to protect our planet from plastic pollution. There is a dire need to recognise global solution to address concerns of plastic and its items. Teachers made earnest efforts to involve students in discussion about various alternatives to be preferred in place of plastic. Enthusiastic leaners ensured gainful learning and raise their voice by making captivating and informative posters on 'Say No to Plastic'

On the whole, the activity was engaging as it helped students to learn about various eco- friendly substitutes to curb plastic pollution.

Ganit Prashnottree – A Mathematics Activity

To enhance analytical skills and logical ability, Maths Quiz entitled Ganit Prashnottree for grade 3rd to 8th was conducted on 24th August 2021 at virtual platform.

Questions based on Logical Reasoning, Sequential Questions, Calculating Direction, Distance and Speed were meticulously planned by the teachers in order to empower students to delve deeper into their thinking process and understand quick and easy methods to arrive at a solution. Learners curiously participated using reasoning consistently to come at a conclusion.

The activity was productive as it helped them in widening their logical process and ensured their intellectual self-improvement. It also increased their capability of being creative by making many logical connections across the subjects and in real life.

Rainy Season activity

"Rain showers our spirit and water our soul."

Rainy Day is always a Fun Time for kids. Pre-Primary Students wore their Raincoat & Umbrella to Splash and Revel in the Rain. Children enjoyed playful rainy weather, sang songs & had a gala time. Children also did various activities related to Rainy Season.

Candle Mediation by Pre-Primary Kids

Youngsters of Grade U.K.G were engrossed in CANDLE MEDITATION in order to improvise focus of mind & the attention which further calm & relax the mind of little MMPians. CANDLE MEDITATION is a simple technique in which you focus your sight & your attention on the flame of a candle. A Simple technique in continuous practice will certainly improve the attention of little children.

It was indeed liked by all the parents.

Senior Citizens Day activity

They are the reason for what we are today give them the best you can'.

World Senior Citizen Day is observed on 21st August to raise awareness about issues that affect older adults. It is a great time to appreciate senior's dedication and services they have given throughout their lives. In order to mark importance of the day, students have done their bit my making creative posters to show their love and support for aged people.

All in all, students were able to instil values of respect, dignity, affection and care for aged people.

Activity on How surface landforms change

To spread awareness about structure of earth and various geographical features of our dynamic planet, students of class VII were involved in a plethora of activities conducted on virtual platform from 9 August, 2021 to 18 August, 2021.

Students investigated about different Spheres of Earth and different Geographical Landforms by travelling to geographical realm of our planet in which they watched interesting videos on different landforms of Earth how they are reformed by natural calamities. Learners involved themselves in constructive discussions and shared different disaster prevention and preparedness tips need to be taken at the time of natural calamities like Earthquake, Volcanic Eruptions, Floods etc.

Young artists also incorporated their artistic skills by making informative and thought-provoking posters on layers of earth and innovative working model on volcano.

All in all, through creative and engaging activities students learnt about physical environment of Earth and how they can make our planet a better place to live.

Celebration of World Photography Day by MMPians

"A picture is worth more than a thousand words."

It is rightly said that because a moment locked in the frame of a camera is capable of delivering a thousand emotions which words may be short to describe.

World Photography Day is observed on August 19 every year. The day celebrates the science, history, art and craft of photography and it marks when the people who share a passion for photography come together to raise awareness and share ideas about the field of photography. Photography is a form of art that immortalizes the moment forever. It has also become one of the most important and widely used modes of communication in the digital era.

Students captured colourful pictures for the same and displayed great enthusiasm and exuberance.

"Water Water Everywhere But Not A Drop To Drink"

Everyday millions of people are living without access to safe drinking water. Knowing this makes it hard to justify wasting water, as every drop counts.

Education and mass awareness play a huge role in the conservation of water, however, action is required, to really make a difference. From reducing amount of water usage at home to being mindful of our water wastage it’s time for action. Students were inspired and motivated to create change and hence created slogans on "Save Water". We must all consider the importance of saving water. Both governments and NGOs are spreading public awareness about the importance of conservation of water and ways to save water in a day-to-day life. As well-informed citizens, we must do our bit to save water. Water is too precious, and we should not waste it unnecessarily.

75th Independence Day Celebration

“Freedom is the way God intended us; it is something we are born with. Something that no one can take away from you. Let’s celebrate freedom!”

To commemorate 75th Independence Day and also to sensitize the students about the importance of this day, a Virtual Celebration of the day was organized. It was a proud moment to have renowned sincere and dedicated film and television actor, Mr. Vindu Dara Singh as the Chief Guest who was warmly welcomed by the Director Sir and Principal Madam. Mr. Singh addressed students and motivated them to take responsibility of managing freedom.

The blooming day started with the hoisting of Indian Flag, the symbol of secular India. Students sang the Patriotic songs and recite poems that aroused the love for the motherland in the heart of everyone. Enriching and meaningful activities like quills making, candle decoration, kite making, poster making, slogan writing etc. on the theme of Independence Day were performed by the talented students to make students aware and enrich their knowledge about this wonderful day. Mesmerizing Mime and dance performance was presented by tiny tots of grade UKG and 1 that evoked love for the motherland and made all the students spell-bound by their amazing performance. Wonderful recipes were presented by students of class II and III that instilled a feeling of patriotism in young hearts. Incredible India was shown and enjoyed by students through a virtual tour of all important heritage monuments of India. The day concluded with National Anthem.

It was a memorable day for every child that left an everlasting impression on their innocent hearts and evoked love for Motherland.
