NCC CAMP

The national Cadet Corps is the military cadet corps engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The young MMPIANS develop their character and to enhance their spirit of adventure service attended the Annual training camp held from JAN 1st 2019 to 10th JAN 2019 at B-6 Safdarjnag Enclave, NCC Bhawan.

Under the supervision of Chief guest Col. R Basu Choudhary. Students learnt about self-discipline and self-defense. Students did various activities like march past, shooting, drill, games drawing competition and different exercises .The students of MMPS who attended the camp were:-

The  entire  training  session  was highly  beneficial  for the  students  to  follow the  motto of  NCC “Unity and Discipline”  to be secular  and disciplined  citizens of the Nation.

Celebration of White Colour Day by Mont Students

To infuse the concept of white colour to the tiny toddlers, students of class L.K.G and U.K.G celebrated White Colour Day. Children and teachers came to school pertaining to the theme. They had brought white coloured objects like tulip flowers, ambulance van, cotton, rabbit, bat etc. which was beautifully displayed. A special story on white colour was done by the teachers on puppet theatre and beautiful poems on white colour were sung by the children. Kids were also indulged in beautiful activities for the reinforcement of white colour. Indeed, a fun loving day!

ENGLISH RECITATION COMPETITION

The English Recitation Competition of class L.K.G and U.K.G was held on 27.12.18.

Beauty is the realm of poetry, the pals enjoyed the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme and music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration the tiny tots got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The students chose a variety of topic for their recitation like nature, trees, flowers, social helper etc. with lot of zeal and enthusiasm. They were assessed on the basis of expression, voice modulation props and pronunciation.

Christmas Celebration

Soaking in the spirits of Christmas, preprimary students celebrated the festival on 24th December 2018 with gaiety. The entire campus was festooned with colourful streamers, balloons and beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Teachers enacted a play on the birth of Lord Jesus, the savior. Children sang melodious carols, watched a beautiful animated movies on birth of Jesus Christ.

The enjoyment continued as the students were taken to Church to seek the blessings of Almighty. The spree of celebration came to an end when kids got involved in various Christmas activities and had scrumptious pasta, cake and chips.

It was indeed a colourful day, kids really enjoyed a lot.

 

50th FOUNDERS DAY AND ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION

Jubilees are occasions to be celebrated to relive the past era, to reflect upon the past achievements and to pay honor to the founders of the school. Year 2018 marked the 50th anniversary of the school on the pleasant evening of 8 December with a vision to march ahead in the future by not only paying tribute to the founders Late Shri Lomesh Pathak and Late Smt. Krishna Pathak but also to honor the meritorious students.

It was a proud moment to have the Guest of Honour renowned sincere and dedicated Shri. Pushpendra Kumar, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of NDMC who was given a token of appreciation and memento by the Director Sir and Principal Madam. 

The lamp lightning ceremony by Director Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak commemorated the celebration of golden jubilee of the school followed by a colorful programme ‘I Am Blue’ where the blue world was created by tiny tots of class L.K.G and U.K.G. A foot tapping musical play ‘Gadgets’ was staged by the little pearls of class- I and II. To wipe off the darkness of terrorism and to welcome the light of brotherhood and harmony a powerful musical play strengthening the spirit of togetherness was also depicted by the students of middle wing.   A time piece performance based on the message of the poem by Rabindranath Tagore ‘Where the mind is without fear’ by senior wing mesmerized the audience. The blessings of Lord Shiva were invoked through dance performance on ‘Shiv Stuti’ which won the appreciation and applauds.

Then the School Annual Report of the academic year was presented by the Principal Mrs Rooma Pathak apprising the parents and guests about the achievements and glories of the school. The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony recognized the talent of young and gifted MMPIANS for their scholastic and non-scholastic achievements. The prizes, trophies and certificates were given by the Guest of Honor Shri. Pushpendra Kumar and Director Sir along with Principal Madam which was followed by inspirational speech of the guest appreciating the efforts of the school and wishing great success to the school fraternity in coming years.

A substantial and sizeable performance presented by the students of class VI and VII depicting different incarnations of Lord Vishnu and a dance performance on ‘Dashavtar’ was a perfect prelude of holy bliss followed by spectacular musical play ‘ The Lion King ‘ by class- III,IV and V.  Reflection of different kinds of culture and tradition was presented through Indian fusion dances on the theme of ‘Make in India’. 

Finally the lively colorful finale ‘Punjabi Bhangra’ by senior wing invoked the feeling of nationalism and patriotism among all. The cultural extravaganza culminated with the national anthem followed by vote of thanks. Thus exquisite and enthralling presentations on 50th Founder’s Day - marked significant milestone in the history of school.

Under the supervision  of Col. R. Basu Choudhary, S M  Commanding  officer, Col Vikram kashyap A D M  Officer. Students learnt about self-discipline and  self-defense. ORANGE COLOUR DAY

Orange colour day was celebrated with pre-primary children on December 11, 2018. The event was celebrated to acquaint the little cherubs with the concept of colour and objects related to it. Children were given a thorough understanding of the colour orange through different activities like scribbling of orange colour and colouring an orange ice-cream bar.

To mark this day as a special day, the students and teachers also dressed in orange colour dress.

They sang rhymes and listened to a short story based on orange colour.

Winners in Road Safety Quiz Competition at District Level

Another feather was added to the glory of M.M. Public School when four gems, Ankush Dua and Nishant Paliwal of class IX, Kaustabh Rajwar and Neev Khudaniya of class VIII secured II and III position respectively in District Level Quiz Competition about Road Safety on 17th November, 2018 at Darshan Academy, Delhi. This victory turned out to be more special when all the champions were appreciated with Certificates and Prizes on 3rd December, 2018 by Smt. Nirmala, ACP, Road Safety and Mr.  Rajesh Makhija, Hero Motor Cop Officer at Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Traffic Training Park, New Delhi.

 

MMPian Star shining among International Champions

Sacchitt Sharma kept the School’s and Nation’s hopes alive by making the Singles Final of the Boys section in the ITF Grade-4 Junior Tennis Tournament at DLTA Complex on 30-Nov-2018. The tall Sacchitt Sharma beat Ryuhei of JAPAN and won the International title.

Position in Inter-School Competition

It was a moment of great pride when Prateek Rana of Class XI secured II position in an inter-school competition ‘Boond’ organized by Tulip International School on 29 November 2018. He imitated Chanakya’s personality, policies and life in the event named Persona. He was appreciated with certificate and prize for his commendable performance.
