It was a delight to see Adroit M.M.pians of L.K.G class dressed up in different animal attire. They enacted on sound and the movement of animals. Children brought Toy animals, prop etc and also spoke about different animals

ASSEMBLY ON SAVE WATER

Water = Life, Conservation = Future!

Save water is the water conservation for solving the problems of water scarcity in the future. To instil the significance of water, a special assembly was conducted for the pals of grade 2 to grade 5. A movie and a technique on water conservation was shown to students. One child recited poem and quotations were spoken to save water. The students were told not to waste and contaminate useful water in our life and promote water saving and conservation among people.

Over the recent decades, Education System is becoming too competitive and exam oriented which is causing lot of stress and strain among the students and to create  happiness and cheerfulness Happy Classrooms in the schools is a great initiative taken by CBSE and the school ,was thus proud to conduct Happy Classroom Workshop Capacity Building Programme  for all the staff members in this regard on 24 September, 2019 from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm Honorable Principal Madam Ms Rooma Pathak welcomed the highly experienced Senior Educator Ms. Neera Kohli as a resource person with  a sapling as a token of appreciation.

 An innovative and a great administrator Ms Neera Kohli guided the teachers on how to create conducive atmosphere among the young learners of today, who are full of anxiety and depressive disorders. Many joyful activities like making of bookmarks with an enthusiastic quote and word building through balloons were conducted by the Resource Person. Handouts were also given to the teachers to do the problem-solving activities and were also asked to write positive affirmation about themselves. They were guided to conduct these kinds of activities among the students to bring a great change towards learning.

 Thus, all in all, this workshop was highly beneficial and successful in empowering the faculty towards their positive approach and outlook to life.

32nd International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer

32 Years and Healing, 32nd   International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer Day was celebrated on 16 Sept 2019 in association with Shri Gautam Foundation. An Interclass Painting and Slogan writing competition was organized in the school to commemorate Ozone Day, in which the students reflected the ill-effects of depleting Ozone Layer as well as how cool the earth would be with the preserved ozone layer. The students also wrote inspiring slogans to save ozone layer. Revered Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak and Hasyavyang  kavi Mr.K K Rajasthani , gave prizes to the winning students . Principal ma’am also shared her views on how the selfish human activities were responsible for this situation and inspired the students to become responsible Global citizens in saving the Ozone layer.

It was a moment of immense pleasure when our Junior Boys and Sub-Junior boys team achieved II position in Hand Ball Zonal Tournament held on 9th September 2019 at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya FU-Block, Pitampura, Delhi.

It was a moment of great honor and pride when Shubham Kumar of class IX secured IV position in Yoga Zonal Competition held on 4th September 2019a at GSBV, H-Block, Ashok Vihar.

Fit India Movement celebration by primary students

Fitness has zero investment and hundred per cent return. – Mr Narendra Modi

Our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the "Fit India Movement" and encouraged the nation to make fitness a part of the daily routine. To embrace the Fit India Movement like any other movement a special assembly was conducted from 9th sep to 13th sep by the children from primary wing. The students delivered the poem on fitness, did aerobics, a power point presentation and movies were shown. All the teachers and students contributed in assembly by doing Yoga. An inspirational speech was given by the primary coordinator to stay healthy and maintain balance of mind & soul. The speech included how to keep positive & healthy surroundings.

Blue Colour Day Celebration by Pre-primary kids

“The best way in the whole world is one that looks good on you”.

Tiny Tots of Grade L.K.G. celebrated “BLUE COLOUR DAY” on September 11, 2019 in the school Audi. Little Billy Blue’s were dressed up in blue colour dress and had also brought blue colour related objects from home. They spoke about it with great conviction and also did associated activities related to Blue Colour. They were amused to see Blue Colour all around and participated with glee.
