Achievement in Athletic Zonal

It was a moment of great pride when Aman Joy of Class XII got 3rd position in Long Jump in Athletic Zonal Event held at Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura on 11th November 2021.

The school congratulates him for this achievement and wishes him good luck for future endeavors.

National Education Day Celebration

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India, various activities were conducted for the students of Grade I to XII on 11 November 2021.

Poem Recitation for students in grades I to V, speeches for students in grades VI to VIII, and essay writing for students in grades IX to XII were all held, with students emphasizing the importance of everyone's basic and essential rights. The activities focused on Kalam's idea of instilling life skills and technical talents in order to earn a living and become employable.

Students’ ideas on educational excellence and universal access to primary education were admired and accepted by all. The activities fostered the talent of students and brought confidence in them.

Achievement in Hand Ball Zonal Competition

It was a moment of immense pleasure when following students of our school achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in Hand ball Zonal Tournament held on 8 November 2021at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya FU-Block, Pitampura, Delhi.

Achievement in Skating Zonal competition

Another feather was added to the cap of MMPS when Goldy of class X got III position in skating in 300 mt. race at Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitampura at Zonal level which was held on 3 November 2021.

It was a moment of honor and pride when Akansha Kochhar and Pratishtha Dixit of Class X bagged THIRD POSTION in Judo Zonal Tournament held at DAV Public School Pushpanjali Enclave  on 2nd November 2021.

Lawn Tennis Zonal Tournament

MMPS organized Inter School Lawn Tennis Zonal Tournament on 2nd November 2021.The school playground atmosphere was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. It was the moment of great honour and pride when the students of MMPS participated with great enthusiasm and showed their worthy efforts and team spirit in all the games. Almost 20 schools from zone XI participated in the event. The chief guest Ms. Kamini Rawat (SPE); Mr. Y.D. Sharma (Sports Secretary Boys); Ms. Rajesh (Sport Secretary Girls); Ms. Arpita (Cultural Secretary) along with Mrs. Rooma Pathak, the Principal of school inaugurated the tournament. Mrs. Rooma Pathak, our revered Principal welcomed the esteemed gathering and also emphasized on the importance of sports. The whole event was held under the supervision of venue incharge, Mr. V.S. Rana. It was an over joyous moment for the school and all participants.

Diwali Celebration

M.M Public School commemorated Diwali with a lot of fervor & ardor. The festival of lights came alive on November 1st' 21.

Students of Grade 3rd, 4th & 5th presented a small programme on Diwali to depict meaningful & inclusive way to enjoy the season of festivities. The programme began with an invocation of Goddess Laxmi & Lord Ganesh ji. Students explained the significance of Diwali followed by Rangoli. The programme concluded with a devotional song & a dance by students with a special message of celebration, i.e., in its true spirit Diwali is the festival to enlighten someone's life by doing good deeds.

“Diwali is a festival of lights not crackers”

With the aim to curb air and noise pollution emanating from bursting of crackers, School undertook an Anti-Fire Crackers Campaign on the theme 'Say No to Fire Crackers' before the auspicious festival of Diwali to sensitize students about the ill effects of burning firecrackers. With the noble aim of celebrating ‘Green Diwali’ students pledged to say ‘No’ to crackers and ‘Yes’ to pollution free environment during the Hon'ble Environment Minister’s Interaction with students on 1st November 2021.

With the aim of creating awareness among the masses about the tremendous air pollution caused due to bursting of crackers a presentation was shown to students of classes V to VIII during their classes and activities such as slogan writing, poster making, pamphlet making etc were done by little MMPians of Class III-V during their classes.

Pals of Grade L.K.G to Grade 2 had a wonderful time by participating in different hands-on activities related to Diwali.

Students not only enjoyed the activities but the sheer aim of generating a sense of duty towards the environment was fulfilled.

MMPS congratulates Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Rooma Pathak as a philanthropic mentor who never puts limitations on self and members and has always been resourceful and finds creative ways to meet needs when issues arise, never been afraid to think outside the box.
