‘TRUE ART MUST HELP THE SOUL TO REALISE ITS INNER SOUL’

MAHATMA GANDHI

Mahatma Gandhi believed that joy of exploring whole new world with creative efforts is unmatched. To commemorate the 150th Birth anniversary of our very own ‘Father of the Nation- Mahatma Gandhi’ and to give the younger generation a golden opportunity to present their creativity on the numerous ideas and principles on Bapu in a colorful manner, Smt. KRISHNA PATHAK MEMORIAL FIFITEENTH INTERSCHOOL PAINTING AND CRAFT COMPETITION was organized on 3rd December 2019 i.e. Tuesday in the school premises with great vigor and vivacity. A tribute to our founder late Smt. Krishna Pathak was paid through Lamp Lightning ceremony. The sacred lights were lighted by the honorable chief guest, the visual artist Ms. Nandita Richi along with our revered Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak. It was followed by the token of appreciation given to the chief guest by our respectable Principal ma’am Ms. Rooma Pathak.

Around 4985 students from various schools of Delhi and NCR  equipped with colors and brushes participated and showed the power of creation through their master strokes of imagination and brought back the memories of Gandhi Ji alive by displaying the true art of painting in Painting & Craft Competition.

The chief guest Ms. Nandita Richi was overwhelmed to see such creativity and praised all the participants for their unique style of art. The Principal ma’am and Director Sir were also exhilarated and enraptured to see little hands painting the ideas of simple living of Gandhi Ji in their innovative style.

Thus, SMT. KRISHNA PATHAK MEMORIAL FIFTEENTH INTERSCHOOL PAINTING AND CRAFT COMPETITION turned out to be a great success as all the young artists not only displayed their unique style of art but also presented a colorful rainbow through their innovation, making this day illustrious and remarkable in the years to come.

 

 

English Story Telling

To build confidence, enhance English speaking skills story telling competition was organised for Grade 1 students. Children glued their class mates with interesting and gripping stories. Children were dressed up accordingly and presented their stories in most agreeable way.

65th NATIONAL SCHOOL GAMES BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

It was a matter of profound glory when Himanshu, Amit, Himanshu, Ankit, Deepak of class IX won Gold Medal in NATIONAL BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP organized by SCHOOL GAMES FEDERATION OF INDIA at Chattrasaal Stadium, Delhi from 17 November to 22 November 2019.

Achievement in Handball Inter-Zonal Competition

It was a moment of pleasure when Devender of class IX, Adnan of class, Deepak of class IX, Rahul of class IX, Navpreet of class IX achieved First Position in Junior in Handball Inter-Zonal Tournament held on 18 to 22 November, 2019 at F.U. Block, Pitampura.

MMPS Stands Tall in Glory of Trove of Achievements

Indeed it is a matter of adoration and approbation that M.M Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitam Pura has become super achiever in India School Merit Awards -2019 and is ranked No. 1 in INDIA under the Top CBSE School – Parameter wise for Co-Curriculum Education in a survey conducted by Education Today on the basis of Jury Rating, Parent’s Votes (88,910 votes) and Education Today Team Analysis (Perceptions based, Survey & Nomination based).

The fraternity and students of MMPS congratulate and compliment Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak for this commendable endeavor. 

Constitution Day Celebration

“Constitution is the framework of a Nation and the heart and soul of a democracy.”

 MM Public School observed the constitution day on November 26, 2019 as per the CBSE guidelines. It was an initiative to educate the children about the Preamble to the Indian Constitution- its meaning and significance. Two students of class XI-Arts read out the preamble to the assembly of students in both English and Hindi languages and also enlightened them about the meaning of the word preamble.

Position in Inter School Painting competition

It was a moment of immense pleasure when MANVI BAL of class IX achieved II position in Painting competition (Expression of Inner Self) held at Darshan Academy Kirpal Bagh, Kirpal Singh Marg, Delhi on 26th November 2019.

Value Education Olympiad

“Value education is a lifelong learning process”

Pride moments poured in when Nishant Paliwal of class X scored 3rd Rank among 5800 students of Delhi in world’s Biggest Interschool Value Education Olympiad organized by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKON) held recently.

Diksha (V), Chitra Paliwal (VI), Ayushi (VII), Krish Saini (IX), Nishatn Paliwal (X) and Prabhjot Kaur (XII) are the class toppers in the Olympiad.

Revered Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak congratulates all the toppers and expressed the importance of Value Education to enhance and enrich the personality of a student as a better individual and how moral values help in building good relationships and eradicate problems like dishonesty, violence cheating, jealousy from one’s life.

ATL Student Innovator Awards 2019

On the occasion of World Children’s Day, MMPS in collaboration with AIM, NITI Aayog is proud to announce the winners of ATL Student Innovator Awards from ATAL Tinkering Lab and community.

To motivate these stellar innovators so that they continue innovating and to inspire and lead many more young tinkerers in this path of discovery for national and global good through cutting edge innovation few top students were nominated as the Student Innovators of 2019 from our school and the community. This was the first step to recognize the efforts put in by young innovators of our country and ensuring that their consistent effort in innovation is recognized nationally in their academic as well as in their professional careers.

These student innovators, Lavi Hassija of class X, Mahi Chaudhary of class VII, Ladli from NGO and Arjun Pathak from community were awarded with Merit Certificates and Special Badges on 20th November 2019 on the occasion of World Children's Day by our revered Principal Ma’am.

Students also exhibited their innovative projects amongst Principal ma’am which were well appreciated by Ma’am. She encouraged students to innovate and guided how they can manage time between their studies and doing creative work in ATL Lab.

All in all, it was a day of achievements and creativity filled with fun and smiles.

54th Youth Parliament Competition

“The best form of learning is, learning by doing”.

Keeping this axiom in mind the M.M. Public School conducted a session of the Youth Parliament which is an initiative of Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India. The competition was held on November 18, 2019 in the school premises and was graced by Mr. Anil Kumar, Under Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Mr. Bratin Sengupta, ex-MP, Rajya Sabha.

The event opened with honoring of the guests. The students then carried out a mock parliamentary session, containing of total of nine legislative businesses like Oath Taking, Obituary Reference, Question Hour, Breach of Privilege, Bill Introduction, Zero Hour etc. The parliamentary session was followed by address to the students by both the guests who appreciated and lauded the participants. The day concluded with the announcement of results wherein, eight participants were shortlisted for giving an award-winning performance. The event was successfully concluded.
