A Pageant of Creativity

Realizing the need to create scientific temper and cultivate the spirit of curiosity and innovation among young minds, the school organized an ATL Exhibition on January 7, 2020 wherein students of our school showcased their talent for innovative ideas and creativity in hands on activities in Robotics and Electronics. Students not only shared their innovative ideas but were also motivated for new solutions for the prevailing problems in the society.

The event proved to be a massive success as it brings smiles to children, teachers and parents too.

65th National School Games Handball Senior

One more feather was added to the cap of the institution when Mandeep, Deepak, Mohit, Davender of class IX won II Position in Under-17 years Boys Category in 65 National School Games Handball held from 25 to 30 Dec 2019 at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium Rohtak (Haryana) The school conveys its heartiest congratulation and wishes them success in near future.

It is matter of glory and pride that Sahil, Sunny, Sagar of class VIII won II Position in Under-14 Boys Category in 65th National School Games Handball held from 29th December to 3rd Jan 2020 at Happy Day School Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. The school congratulates the winners and wish them good luck for future endeavors.

My Performance – Insects

In order to dive deep into learning about insects the students participated in Show and Tell competition on the topic “INSECTS” which was conducted on 27.12.19. The costume and lovely conversation about the insects made the entire show beautiful.

Felicitation of Student of the Year 2019 by LIC

It was a moment of immense pleasure when Life Insurance Corporation of India felicitated ten outstanding students for the year 2019. Mr. Kamal Sharma (Branch Manager, Connaught Place) and Mr. Anil Mehra (Asst. Branch Manager, Connaught Place) presented the trophies to Disha  (class V), Rehanshu Aggarwal (Class VI), Sohini Mukherjee(Class VII ), Tarushi Aggarwal ( Class VIII ), Hridya Sharma (Class IX ), S.Abhinya (Class IX ), Bhuvnesh (Class IX), Lavi Hassija (Class X), Kapil Jain (Class X) and Nishant Paliwal (Class X). Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak congratulated the felicitated students and also encouraged the other students to strive for overall development.

CBSE Merit Certificates

M.M.P.S has again proved its excellency in C.B.S.E results in the session 2018-19 as the following students have been awarded Certificate of Merit by C.B.S.E recognizing their abilities as 0.1% by successful candidates.

Ansh Gupta of class X for Mathematics, Simran Gupta of class XII for English and Aruba Mansuri of class XII for Hindi.

Fit India Movement

For holistic development of children and to prevent a sedentary lifestyle under Fit India Movement, the school had kept one period daily for Sports activities for classes I to XII. All students participated in at least two sport activities as per their interest and capability. The school also keep organising sports such as Kabbadi, Kho-kho, Rope skipping and Yoga at cluster, zone and National level.

Students took part in SEWA Programme activities for classes IX to XII to direct children’s mind towards constructive activities with positive outcomes.

The school has strictly banned the serving of junk food and replaced it with healthy snacks. Even carbonated and aerated beverages are replaced with juices and dairy products to maintain good health. The school orgranises Health Mela every year to spread the importance of health.

The school observed Fit India School Week in the third and fourth week of November to alter the behavior from passive screen time to active field time and developed Sports Quotient among all the students to achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Under Art Integration Program, the students went to explore Shimla and Kufri. They also conducted interviews with famous personalities such as Mr. Vikas Dagar, Paraolympic, Mr. Sushil Kumar, Wrestler.

All physical teachers attended one-day workshop training for Khelo India National Fitness Assessment Programme in the month of December under National Level Training of Trainers (TOT) programs by CBSE.

The mission Fit India School Rating, the school conducted various activities for students, teachers and parents.

The school has been made as Anger Free Space for the children to express their emotions to tell that situation is disturbing, unjust or intimidating. The school counsellor Ms. Sheetal deals with all such cases in a constructive manner. The students are dealt in a decent and positive way.

Above all, Fit India Movement has been taken as an important initiative and conducts activities on regular basis to spread awareness among students to keep body and mind fit.

A MEMORABLE DAY

It was a moment of great pride when M.M Public school was invited to the Prize Distribution Ceremony at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Kailash Enclave on 21st December 2019.  The chief guest of the ceremony was the honorable Dronacharya Awardee DDE Zone Reeta Gupta. Mr. V.S. Rana attended the occasion with two students Saif (X-C) and Adnan (IX-B). Both the students were also awarded for being a handball winner. The school received 13 awards in different categories. The school and Mr. V.S. Rana received the appreciation certificate for organizing the events magnificently. The wonderful day ended with the message- “Hard Work Pays”.
