MY PERFORMANCE- COMMUNITY HELPERS

On 22nd Jan 2020 the pals of Pre School showcased themselves as community helpers. Children were dressed up as Doctor, Teacher, Policeman, Astronaut etc. It was amazing to see the children speaking about what they were dressed up as.

It was indeed eventful day for the children as they learnt a lot about various community helpers.  

PURPLE COLOUR DAY

With the objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effect of Purple Colour Day, Children enjoyed various activities by celebrating PURPLE COLOUR DAY on 22nd Jan 2020’.

ARYABHATTA GANIT CHALLENGE

“Self-belief and hard work well always earn success”

Another feather was added to the glorious cap of MMPS when Lavi Hassija of class X, Vedic Bhatnagar of class IX and Tarushi Agarwal of class VIII proudly won the second stage of Aryabhatta Ganit Challenge (computer-based test) which was held on 29th November, 2019.

The school congratulates the winners and wishes them good luck for such more winning.

‘Don’t Stress, Do your best, forget the rest’

 

To make the students understand believe the power of motivation and positive thinking, the live session of our honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi was shown to the students of class IX to XII on 20/01/2020 i.e. Monday. During the session Mr. Narendra Modi not only interacted with the students but also shared some very useful tips to ease the stress of students especially those who are going to give for the upcoming board examination. He also encouraged the students to bring out their inner potential rather than worrying about the marks, they should not be disappointed if they fail to achieve the desired result and should come out of the fear of exams.

Thus, the live session was worthy to watch as it helped the students to control their anxieties during examination

Inter-School English Declamation Competition

One more feather was added to the cap of the school when Sohini Mukherjee of class VII bagged Second Position at junior level along with a cash prize of Rs.800 on the topic ‘Don’t be Drastic Say No to Plastic’ and Sarthak Kumar of class X won Consolation Prize along with a cash prize of Rs.500 at Senior Level on the topic ‘Role of Artificial Intelligence in Battling Climate Change’ in Inter-School English Declamation Competition held at Yuvashakti Public School, Sector-3, Rohini, Delhi on 20 January, 2020.

The school congratulates the winners and wishes them success for their future endeavors.

Farewell Ceremony

To wish joy and happiness for beginning a new chapter in all spheres of life for class XII students, a Farewell Ceremony was organized on 16th January 2020 with spirituality. Students got the blessings through Hawan ceremony followed by Dance on foot tapping numbers on DJ. Later on a lunch was organized for the students. They had a golden chance to have their photos clicked with Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak. The Principal Madam motivated the students by encouraging them to excel not only in Board Examination but also in every walk of life.

31st National Road Safety Week 2020

To commemorate the 31st National Road Safety Week 2020, an enlightening programme was organized for the students on 13th January 2020 at Vigyan Bhawan.

This event was graced by the Defence Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh and Road Safety Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari who not only discussed about the necessity of following the Road Rules or Driving Rules but also encouraged all the students to be a responsible citizen of the society as they are the future of our nation.

A quiz competition was also organized for all the students to assess their knowledge about ‘Road Safety’ in which Neev Khudaniya of our school of class- IX was also rewarded for winning the competition.

Thus, the programme broaden the mental horizon of the students about the importance of following all the “Safety Rules”. 

HEALTH MELA

‘The human body is the best picture of the human soul’.

To promote Fit India Movement launched by honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi, an initiative to bring revolution in the arena of fitness and to raise awareness regarding the pre-requisites, preventions and cures related to various aspects of physical fitness, a ‘Health Mela’ was organized on 18th January, 2020 in the school premises in collaboration with Shri Gautam Foundation, Max Health Care, Artemis Hospital and Mission Jan Jagriti (NGO). The fair started with a Lamp Lightning Ceremony by our Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak, our Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak along with the dignitaries Dr. Ashok Jhingan, Dr. Nandini Dadu, Dr. Anita Khokhar, Dr. Neeraj Jain, Dr. N.K. Bhatia, Dr. Damini Bhasin, Dr. S.K. Narang, Dr. Soni, Dr. Parvej, Dr. Hatwal, Mr. Sunil Bansal (MD, Shri Gautam Foundation), Mr. Yogesh Pant (Shri Gautam Foundation), Mr. Sushant  Mathur (Artemis Hospital), Mr. Shashank Gulati (MAX Healthcare) and poets Gorakhpuri ji, Manju ji and KK Rajasthani ji. They were also welcomed and honoured with token of appreciation given by our Director Sir and Principal Madam. Later on, Ganesh Vandana and Welcome Song by the students of class IV to VIII promoted the beginning of the program followed by Yoga performance and Hasya Kavi Sammelan which enthralled the visitors.

The fair included Free Health Check-ups like ECG, Eye Screening, Acupressure and Dental Checkups by the renowned doctors of the city. They also created awareness on sensitive issues like First Aid, Sports Injury, Healthy Life Style and Breast Cancer. Our Director Sir and many parents as well as teachers donated blood in Blood Donation Camp which was a distinctive feature of Health Mela.

Moreover, the students and teachers had put up different stalls on eatables and recreational games. The fair provided knowledge about adopting healthy life style among the visitors. The fair was a huge success as it not only provided a platform to avail free health check-ups but also inculcated new information about prevention of different diseases.

Thus, the endeavors taken by M.M.P.S family proved fruitful and enriching.

ANNUAL PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY

“Excellence is not a singular act, but a habit. You are what you repeatedly do.”

Prizes motivate and encourage students to climb the ladder of success. Academics is a true pursuit of excellence and our school does not leave any stone unturned in rewarding our students. It is a matter of great pride that they were boosted up by the medals, certificates and trophies given by our Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak, our Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak along with the dignitaries Dr. Ashok Jhingan, and Dr. N.K. Bhatia on the basis of their excellence in academics and co-curricular activities in Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony on Saturday, 18th  January 2020. The ceremony was followed by cultural programs and a guidance on health care by the esteemed doctors.

Thus, this ceremony provided a bench mark to the students to stand on an elevated platform.
