Fruit Kabab and Technology Gadgets activity

At M.M.P.S we try to inquire deeper into our practices, explore new ways to motivate students & make use of learning styles, introduce multiple intelligence, integrate learning and teach-thinking.

Thus, in this process we discover the passion for moral values, intellectual learning which can always be fruitful for an individual child.

As such kids of Grade Pre- Primary not only learnt how to make "FRUIT KABABS" but also learnt about

"TECHNOLOGY GADGETS" like SMART WATCH, SMART PHONES, LAPTOP, TABLET, COMPUTER, WIFI CONNECTION etc.

Children had a dialogue on "TECHNOLOGY GADGETS" with their teacher which was very Beneficial for the growing pals.

They learnt the names of different gadgets and also the uses of it, which gave them the knowledge of technology integration.

Children’s Day Celebration

“Children are the world’s most valuable resources and the best HOPE for the FUTURE.”

Every year Children’s Day is celebrated across India in the memory of our first Prime Minister Pdt. Jawahar Lal Nehru whose immense love for children is known world-wide. To make our children feel special this year the teachers of M.M. Public School celebrated Children’s Day on November 12, 2020  on a virtual platform with full zeal and zest.

The formal programme started with a speech on Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru followed by songs, poem recitation and fun activities. The children enjoyed and laughed their hearts out when they saw a funny documentary online. The students also danced with their cute little steps on the songs played by teachers. To conclude the programme our Principal Madam Ms. Rooma Pathak greeted the students on the occasion and reminded them to be grateful and give a thought to the countless children who are homeless, underprivileged, deprived, exploited or living in backward areas.

It was indeed memorable for one and all.

Diwali Celebration

Diwali is not just a day which is an ode to the home coming of Lord Rama, it also carries it the essence of victory of good over evil.

The festival was celebrated with pomp and joy on 11th November 2020; the students wore festive Garba dress as “DANDIYA FEST” was organized for the little ones of Pre-Primary Students.

Children tapped their feet on Dandiya music & had great Fun.

The day started with a special assembly where in children were sensitized about the following-

 i) National Education Day

ii) Diwali

iii) Children's Day

As November 11 is the Birth Anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, who was the first Education Minister of India. Little MMPians celebrated "NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY" by writing beautiful slogans on importance of Education.

A Power Point Presentation was shown to the children to explain in detail about “DIWALI” & "CHILDREN'S DAY".

Kids of Grade Pre- School learnt how to make decorative Diyas out of clay, UKG Pals learnt how to decorate Candles for Diwali wherein Grade 1 students learnt how to make Lord Ganesha and Goddess Laxmi ji out of coloured flour dough.

It was a fun filled day, concluded with the message “CLEAN DELHI, GREEN DELHI”, “HELP POOR PEOPLE” this Diwali.

Let’s celebrate an ECO-FRIENDLY DIWALI.

National Education Day

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Abul Kalam Azad, a great freedom fighter, an eminent educationist and the first Education Minister post independence, a session was conducted on 11th November,2020 on a digital platform. Abul Kalam’s documentary was shown to the students wherein the students learned about the life of Kalam who served the nation  from 1947 to 1958, and improved the literacy rate during his period.

The students wrote essays, slogans and made posters on the importance of education and the Nation’s commitment to all aspects of education. The educators and learners together spoke on the importance of education in a child’s life. Amid the spread of COVID-19, the students were told how to pursue education in the best possible manner and to strengthen connectivity between the learners and educators. At the same time, we have to keep ourselves safe from cyber threats as well.

The session was interesting and informative for all.

VIRTUAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION

To inculcate a scientific and research attitude, a science exhibition was held by the students of Grade VI to IX on 10th November, 2020. The students prepared the static as well as working models like electric lamps, human lungs, kidneys, smart city, volcano etc. which can be used for learning various scientific concepts.

Teachers from the Science Department guided the students to prepare such live models that can be a very effective tool to make the classroom experience of the student real and meaningful. The topics were chosen from NCERT Science books.

The students showcased their talent, creativity and innovation by explaining the models they had made.

Story Dramatization

Reading & Sharing  Stories, Reciting Poems plays vital role in growth &  develop early literacy skills. It sparks imagination and stimulate curiosity.
On October 29th  "Kavita ka Natkiya Rupantaran" activity was performed by Youngsters of Grade 1 based on Hindi Poem 'मोर करता शोर' .
Children recited the poem with zeal using perfect blend of actions, voice modulation &  dramatics .
The outcome was alluring as  children used various props related to it.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas /National Unity Day

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who played a major role in the integration of India, 31 October was observed as Unity Day.

The students offered tribute to Sardar Patel by making PPT and film on the life of Sardar Patel. A documentary was shown to the students reflecting the contribution of Sardar Patel in uniting India despite several hurdles. Students also resolved that they always stand to ensure the unity, integrity and security of the nation.

Dusshera Celebration

“May all the tensions in your life burn along with the effigy of Ravana. May you be satisfied and happy.”

Let's celebrate the victory of Good over Evil...... Virtual celebration of Dussehra was a time of great enthusiasm for MMPians. The session began with a prayer and a message for the festival. This was followed by a cultural program which included speeches, role plays, songs and dances. The students enthralled the audience with their spectacular performances.

The students also made bows & arrows, masks, crowns, puppets and sketches of Ravana. Students also prepared a power point presentation depicting the life of Lord Ram and how the pride of an intelligent person like Ravanna be a cause of his down fall.

Principal ma'am congratulated students on this festive season and also guided students about the triumph of virtue over the vice.

Stay Protected from Corona

In continuation on launch of “Jan Andolan Campaign on COVID-19” by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi a pledge for Spreading awareness to stop COVID-19 spread was taken by revered Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Rooma Pathak alongwith her all staff members in MMPS on 19th October 2020 virtually.

Banners and posters were also displayed at various corners of school premises to disseminate the messages highlighting “Wear Mask, Follow Physical Distancing, Maintain Hand Hygiene”

All in all it was a motivating and encouraging event.

CBSE - Intel 'AI For Youth' Virtual Symposium

“The measure of intelligence is the ability to change”

Moving with today’s pace in the world of Artificial Intelligence, revered Principal Ma’am, students and teachers participated in AI For Youth Symposium on 14th October 2020 at all.ai2020 organized by CBSE (Skill Education and Training) in order to make Guinness World Records.

Virtual symposium had series of experts to talk and share their views and insights about AI and related themes followed by online artificial intelligence lessons, activities and quizzes which were enriching and inspiring.

Students and teachers are motivated and fascinated with this emerging and blooming technology. Surely our youth is going to have an amazing world.
