Participation in Patriotic Quiz

Republic Day is celebrated every year on 26th January to honour the constitution and Republic of our country. Celebration of this great event helps the generation of our country to understand the importance of  Indian Constitution in the life of  each and every person.

As a part of Republic Day celebration, an online Patriotic Quiz Competition on the theme “Indian Constitution, struggle for freedom, warriors of Indian independence” was organized by the Ministry of Education in association with Ministry of Defence from 20th January to 30th January 2021.

Students of Classes VI to XII participated in the Patriotic Quiz with great zeal and acquired knowledge about the constitution of India. Students were also awarded with participation certificates.

WATER TALK

To create awareness among the society, NATIONAL WATER MISSION (NWM) under the department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, organizes a lecture series on third Friday of every month wherein leading water experts present innovative perspectives on current water issues in the country. Teachers and Students from class VI to XII attended  21st Water Talk on Jan 15, 2021. Students learned how to conserve water through new techniques like Rain Water Harvesting etc. Overall, it was an informative session.

Purple colour day celebration

Creativity at its best!!!

The Rhythm of doing work with creative activities always makes the little pals delighted. The Munchkins of Grade L.K.G learnt various things of purple colour & did many activities related to it. They also learnt that purple colour represents the future, imagination & dreams.

National Youth Day Celebration

“Old age and treachery will always beat youth and exuberance. …”

To propagate the philosophy, rational thinking and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda among the youth of our school, various activities were conducted for Grades IX to XII on 12 January, 2021.

The students portrayed their ideology for a  bright future head through paintings, essay writing and talked about the life of Vivekananda and philosophy. A Panel discussion took place virtually wherein students presented their ideas, future plans in an Elocution Competition “Main Vivekananda Banna Chahta Hoon” platform  proposed by the Ministry of Youth Affairs.

 As youth is the foundation of our nation, the day proved to be a blessing for all.

Yoga Session for Pre-Primary students

The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual's mind, body and soul. It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind.
As such Grade UKG students participated in Yoga Session conducted on 31st December 20' to rejunvenate the mind and the body.


The session began by seeking the blessings of the almighty by chanting Gayatri Mantra. The fecilitator started with a brief explanation on " KEEP YOURSELF FIT". Thereafter she continued with warming up and stretching exercises followed by different Yoga Postures like PRANAYAMA, MANDOOK ASAN, TITLI ASAN, TADASAN, INHALE, EXHALE exercise etc. 

All the students were excited and energetic. Mother's took a step forward and participated in all the yoga activities. The session was very refreshing, reviving and relaxing. We endeavour to continue such Yoga Session in near future.

Learning Tables

Students of Grade 1 have revised the tables from 0 to 5 proving their innovative caliber.

They have constructed various table house, table wheels and table flowers to present the table using artistic technique.

New Year Celebration

New Year 2021 is here. It's time to bid goodbye to 2020 and welcome 2021 with hope and happiness. In this New Year, we  need a lot more good luck and have to take great care of ourselves and people around us. Despite the pandemic, there is no better time to start  afresh, dream big and thrive for a better future.

To celebrate and welcome the New Year, students of MMPS  made resolutions, greetings cards, messages of love and hope for friends and family. They also shared their experience of 2020 through videos, made happiness jars wherein they put the things that made them happy in 2020. We wish everyone a Happy New Year and pray that this year would bring laughter, success and good health for all of us.

IT Guru Award 2020

In order to acknowledge the efforts and contributions of IT Teachers during these hard times, Edunext appreciated and motivated these IT Warriors with prestigious IT Guru Awards 2020.

Mrs. Tarvinder Kaur, Senior Computer Science Teacher from MMPS has been selected among the best 2000+ participants from across India as the best IT warrior in India who worked hard and carried out the students learning, when whole world was worried about their personal well being.

She was felicitated in the Online Award Ceremony on 28th December, 2020 under the benign presence of Dr. Antriksh Johri, Director (IT & Project) & Chief Information Security Officer, CBSE and Dr. ASHOK PANDEY (Director, Ahlcon Group of Schools) alonwith other eminent education veterans.

School acknowledges the efforts by Education Warriors and wishes to keep doing good work and make India proud.

Achievement in Lawn Tennis

It was amoment of pride when Divya Ungrish of class VII won Finals Aita CS 3 Lawn Tennis Tournament in Under-14 Girls Singles category at Shantimaa Lawn Tennis Academy, JS International School, Haryana.

She gave tough competition to her competitors and brought laurels to school by achieving I position. School congratulates her and wish her best wishes for her bringht future.

 

Learning about Animals activity

Pals of Grade 1 have learnt about Pet ,Domestic, Wild and Water animals through an activity which authenticated Art Integration & Experiential Learning.

Children were asked  to use BIO DEGRADABLE PRODUCTS like Flour, Gram Flour, Chocolate, turmeric,  Rice Flour etc to create different habitats of animals.

Children acquired knowledge & had fun learning Experience through this activity.
