Welcoming and Orientation

One of the most important challenges of the school is to orient and enlighten the new set of parents who come to the school with aspirations and dreams for their children.

A well-structured program was conceived for the session 2022-23.

Orientation Day is when parents are acquainted with the school’s systems, facilities, and infrastructure to make them an integral part of the MMPians family.

Parents were extended a warm welcome by the Pre-Primary Co-Ordinator. She spoke eloquently about the school faculty that assuaged the doubts of the new parents.

A PowerPoint presentation enlightened parents about the objectives and philosophy of the school.

It emphasized the provision of an optimal atmosphere and giving individual attention to each child which further ensures that every child grows and progresses to the best of his/her potential.

A beautiful presentation by the teachers enlightened the day.

The school counselor took a session with the parents to bring awareness about Development at an Early Age. She spoke about issues like Cognitive Development, physical, emotional, and Social Development followed by a question-answer session.

The event concluded with High tea where parents interacted with the teachers and the Co-Ordinator.

Earth Day Celebration by Pre-Primary Wing

HAPPY EARTH DAY !!

World Earth Day is celebrated on the 22nd of April each year to spread awareness about conserving EARTH. To reinstate our responsibilities towards mother Earth, a special GO GREEN WEEK was celebrated by the Pals of U.K.G. wherein each day beautiful activities were conducted. Kids created and coloured the GREEN WORLD and Beautiful Planet worksheets.

Kids were shown a Special PowerPoint Presentation and were also taught about some GREEN TIPS. To Conclude- Kids Planted Saplings with their Little Hands.

Grade 1 Students also celebrated Earth Day through a special Message Assembly wherein KAVITA VAACHAN PRATIYOGITA was organized for them.

They Recited beautiful Hindi Poems on Green Earth and Environment. Children voiced their views on saving the Planet through Lots of Dialogues and Play.

The event of the Entire Week rekindled emotive concerns and instigated the youngsters to save, love and respect Mother Nature with all their heart and soul.

Earth Day Celebration

“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”

Like every year MMPians celebrated Earth Day on Friday, 22 April 2022.

Students participated in a plethora of activities with great enthusiasm and responsibility. Saplings were planted in the school and its vicinity. A workshop for teachers and students was organised to give the message of investing in the earth. It was followed by activities like Slogan writing, Poster Making, Poem Recitation, Pledge, Nukad Natak etc. The creative thought depicted through the work of students was commendable and innovative. Many new ideas were showcased that would help save our planet.

Thus, the activities culminated under the able guidance of the facilitators. Revered Principal Madam Ms. Rooma Pathak admired all the students and congratulated the winners for innovative ideas and gave them a message to become greenery lovers and keep their earth free from all harmful activities that damage our globe.

My Healthy Food Plate Activity

“The Kid’s Healthy Eating Plate is a visual guide to help educate and encourage children to eat well and keep moving”.

At a glance, the best-choice food is to inspire the selection of healthy meals and snacks, and it emphasizes physical activity as part of the equation for staying healthy. The activity of My healthy food plate was conducted on Monday,18th of April students of Class VI have learned that healthy Eating Plate does not include sugary drinks, sweets, and other junk foods. These are not everyday foods and should be eaten only rarely. Children have decorated healthy food plates with fruits vegetables and sprouts. The Kid’s Healthy Eating Plate encourages the use of healthy oils in place of other types of fat. We aim to develop healthy food habits among children.

Thus, the students actively participated in the activity under the worthy guidance of the teacher and the spirit of the whole fest filled the lives of the children with happiness and joy.

Brushing Activity

Tooth Brushing helps in preventing gum diseases, mouth infections & oral ailments.

Little pals of Grade L.K.G. were taught to brush their teeth with the right technique on April 19, 22' for a healthy mouth and sparkling smile.

Brushing ensures the removal of plaque, which is the primary cause of tooth decay and gum diseases; it also arrests the building of any decaying formation.

Children enjoyed Brushing their teeth with their Friends.

It was indeed a day of learning.

Farewell Party for outgoing class XII

To bid adieu to class XII in a fun and frolic manner Farewell party was organised by the school for outgoing students of class XII 2021-22 on Saturday 16 April 2022 at Green Lounge Banquet, Pitampura Delhi.

All the students dressed up in colourful attire danced on foot-tapping numbers. The gracious presence of honourable presence of Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak motivated and encouraged all the students. All the teachers of class XII as a part of this celebration were inspirational to all.

The students from the commerce stream, Science as well as Humanities stream gave their best performances on stage and enthralled everyone.

The party ended with a lunch and gratitude offered by students to the revered Principal Ma'am and teachers for their unstinting support and cooperation in all their endeavours to achieve success in life

ATL COMMUNITY DAY A STEP TOWARDS INNOVATION

Staying true to the philosophy and ideologies of Shri B. R. Ambedkar and extending the frontiers of learning beyond school, ATL Community Day was celebrated on Wednesday 13 April 2022.

Students from NGO Navjyoti India Foundation and students from neighbouring schools visited the ATL lab and were made a part of many experiments in the lab alonwith MMPians. They experienced a lot of fun in practical learning of the basic concepts related to theory. They were invited to experience innovative skills and techniques that are useful in student life.

Students got an opportunity to experience innovation through Scratch. They learned to make basic circuits with breadboard, LEDs, Arduino and other sensors. They created prototypes such as robots, cars, smart homes, smart cities etc. Students were very excited and expressed their interest in making their own projects. These activities on ATL Community Day made them satisfied and confident to be productive innovators and their facial expressions displayed their happiness and inquisitive attitude.

Thus, the school students as well as NGO students actively participated in Atal innovation mission activities under the worthy guidance of our honourable Madam Principal, Mrs. Rooma Pathak who had been a great support and a guiding light to accomplish wonderful tasks of Tinkering and learning.

All in all, ATL Community Day was truly symbolic of ATL’s vision – “Innovation for All”.

National Deworming Campaign 2022

National Deworming Campaign was organized from 4th April 2022 to 13th April 2022 under the guidance of the Directorate of Family Welfare, GNCTD. Students from the age group of 3-19 years were administered an appropriate dose of Albendazole. Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak inspired and motivated students to take the deworming tablets. Thus, a successful National Deworming Campaign was carried out.

BAISAKHI CELEBRATION

“Amidst the rich harvest, across the lush greenery, Baisakhi has arrived, in all its majesty”.

To revive the important harvest festival of North India and to pay respect to Guru Gobind Singh Ji who had founded Khalsa Panth and also gave a unique identity to Sikhs, Baisakhi was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the students of Class II to VIII on Wednesday 13 April 2022. All the students were dressed in colourful attires. The children of Class II wore Punjabi suits, danced to the tunes of Baisakhi numbers. The Dhol making activity was conducted for the children of Class III and they made Dhol with colourful ribbons to mark this day and were overjoyed to carry it home as a takeaway.

The Kite and the wheat/ Barley making activity was conducted by the students of Class IV. Students also made beautiful kites using Barley. The students of Class V made attractive posters, made pin wheels and danced enthusiastically as well. The delicious traditional Punjabi food was displayed at Baisakhi corner and it was heavenly adorned with the phulkari work.

 A TALK SHOW for class VI to VIII was organized to expound the importance of this day. Students masqueraded as farmers and agricultural minister expressed gratitude towards farmers and their families.

Our honourable Principal ma’am Ms. ROOMA PATHAK enhanced the jubilant mood by joining them in the celebration and appreciated everyone

Baisakhi Celebration by Pre-Primary

The pre-Primary wing celebrated the Golden Auspicious Occasion of Baisakhi with joy and prosperity on April 13, 2022.

Baisakhi marks the beginning of the Harvest -festival across the country.

A special assembly was staged by the students to welcome the sunny summers in all pepped up moods with various dances, poetry and even the teachings of the Guru.
