Investiture Ceremony

To inculcate the values of leadership, sense of commitment and dedication, Investiture ceremony was conducted in the school premises on Wednesday, 19 October 2022.

The newly elected representatives of the school council were invested with responsibilities amidst the presence of Honorable Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak. Head Boy, Krisha Kant and Head Girl Hridya Sharma received badges along with the Assistant Boy and Assistant Head Girl, Sports Head Boy and Sports Head Girl, Junior Head Boy Aksh Paliwal Junior Head Girl Kanika along with the House Captain, Class Captain, Scholars and Prefectorial Board Members. The Oath was taken by all the members of the Prefectorial Board.

Our honorable Principal Madam congratulated all the newly elected leaders and stressed on the significant priorities and need to be honest, sincere and dedicated towards their duties. She also reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the school holds and should be responsible for the commitment and integrity. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. Everyone wished good luck and great success to the leaders for a fruitful year ahead.

Achievement in 36th National Games

The Delhi Federation had a camp for 1 month under the auspices of the official Delhi Soft Tennis Team which helped the players to prepare for the 36th Nationals Games held in Gujarat from 29th September to 12th October.

The top 8 teams from Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala participated in the women’s team. Our student Gauri Sharma played through the Delhi team and bagged the Bronze Medal by defeating Rajasthan in Quarter Finals.

The top 8 teams from Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Maharashtra, Chandigarh and Tamil Nadu participated in Men’s Team Event. Our students, Maitreya Rana and Tarun Kapoor played through the Delhi team and bagged the Bronze Medal by defeating Tamil Nadu in the Quarter Finals.

Position in Throw Ball Zonal Competition

"Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it."

A Throwball Zonal Competition was held at MAMS, Pitampura on 30th September. Our students secured III positions in the Junior category.

PPT On Water Management: Poshan Maah Activity

“Water is a natural resource upon which we are entirely dependent"

Water is a basic necessity of life and, indeed, we can’t live without it. To spread awareness about the value of water and to show them how important it is in our life, a PPT presentation was done on Monday, 26 September in compliance with a CBSE circular 95/2022 on the occasion of Poshan Maah.

Students of primary and middle school were shown PPT slides on water management and showed how water is precious and important to us. The different ways of water prevention were explained and many slides related to it were shown to them so that they could save water for a healthy world. Besides water, the importance of food and its nutritional value was also shown.  Students learned how important water and food are. They made beautiful informative posters and wrote catchy slogans too. Thus, the students actively and joyfully participated in the session and also realised that health is our real wealth.

Group Discussion on Poshan Maah

“A healthy attitude is contagious but don’t wait to catch it from others. Be a carrier”

To develop a healthy attitude toward a healthy diet among students, a discussion on healthy food v/s junk food was conducted on Friday, 23 September in the school premises.

The Primary and Middle school graders participated in a discussion wherein the importance of healthy food and the negative effects of junk food were discussed through which students realised how it helps to maintain a healthy life and junk food is not everyday food and should be eaten rarely. The session aimed to develop healthy food habits among students.

Thus, students majestically participated in the session under the worthy guidance of the teachers.

Nutrition Fete: Poshan Maah Activity

‘Good nutrition is one of the best keys to a healthy life.’

Every year September month is celebrated as Poshan Maah, an initiative by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. To sensitize students regarding nutrition in their formative years, the Nutrition Fair was organised for the Primary Graders on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in school premises. They were given a menu of healthy food for their lunchtime which they relished altogether while sharing and munching.  The benefits of millets in diet were narrated to students. The negative impact of junk food on our health was thoroughly explained and guided by all class teachers. The celebration had been so fruitful when they expressed how important it is to eat a healthy diet.

'Health is wealth’

To maintain a healthy life, our MMPIANS were encouraged to participate in different activities suggested by CBSE via circular no. 95/2022 for celebrating Poshan Maah.

Our young scholars of Primary and Middle school were administered the pledge on the 12th of September to keep themselves well-nourished and spread the same message to their friends and family.

The children are future citizens of India, their balanced nutrition plays a vital role in complete growth & development. Students were appropriately guided by the teachers about healthy food versus junk food. They were encouraged to eat healthy food to attain good health and long life. Thus, the Students showed their keen interest in it and enjoyed the session.

Gold Medal in Zonal Taekwondo Competition

School is proud of our student Parth of class 6th who grabbed the Gold Medal in Taekwondo Zonal Competition under the weight category 35-40 kg held at Govt. Co-ed. SV. Rampura from 28th to 29th September 2022 and congratulates him on his success.
