Dramatization Of Doctor’s Clinic

Kids are imaginative and their curiosity leads them to pretend play or imitate people/things around them. Dramatic Play set up by the teacher along with proper actions, costumes, props etc. brings desirable outcome learning benefits for a learner.

As such DRAMATIZATION OF DOCTORS CLINIC was organized for the pals of Pre-School on August 18, 2022’. Children pretended to be doctors, Nurse, and Patients by wearing beautiful costumes. Through play & recreation children were given the opportunity to explore, express & process their healthcare experiences in a safe environment.

Children were taught the terms like,” The Doctor is Listening to my chest”, “The injection hurts”, “Take medicine on time”, “Get well soon”. etc.

Cooking Experience Activity

Another cooking activity done by the pals of U.K.G helped the little learners in building Social- Emotional Development.

Children made sandwiches using cucumber, tomato, boiled potato, butter, chaat masala etc. They also learnt to use cutlery in an apt way. Hands on Experience helps the children to build confidence to be self-directed and independent. It also helps the children to follow directions and develop problem solving Skills.

It was indeed a Joy of cooking and a learning experience day for little pals.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

"May the high spirits of Ganesh Chaturthi stay with us forever just like the blessings of Ganpati Bappa"

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated to welcome Lord Ganesha into our homes. He was born on this day. People bring and install the Ganesh idol in their homes and temples. They decorate their premises and sing and dance for eleven days. Lord Ganesha is the symbol of wisdom, understanding and auspicious beginnings.

To celebrate the festival and make children understand the significance of Lord Ganesha, the activity of 'Clay Modelling' and 'How to draw Ganesha' was conducted for classes 2 and 3 respectively on Tuesday, 30th August on the school premises. It started with the story about Lord Ganesha's birth and the story of how Ganesha considered his parents his whole world.

The teachers demonstrated how the Ganesh idol could be made with the help of clay modelling. Students enhanced their kinesthetics skills too while drawing the pictures of Ganesha. Thus, children enjoyed thoroughly these activities.

Achievement at International Level

The school takes pride in our shining stars who brought laurels not only to school but to Nation when they perform outstandingly at ISTF WORLD TOUR INTERNATIONAL SOFT TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 held at PATTAYA, THAILAND from 23rd to 28th August 2022.
YASHWANT YADAV of class XI won GOLD MEDAL in UNDER-18 DOUBLES, SILVER MEDAL in UNDER-15 SINGLES, and BRONZE MEDAL in UNDER-15 DOUBLES. TARUN KAPOOR of class XII won SILVER MEDAL in the UNDER-18 DOUBLES event.

Honourable Principal Ma’am congratulated the champs and blessed them success always.

Achievement in National Series Tennis Tournament

It was a blessed evening of 22nd August 2022 when Divya Ungrish of class IX won the Singles & Doubles Title in the Under 16 category in the All India AITA National Ranking Tennis Tournament held at Singha Sports Academy, Jalandhar.

Honourable Principal ma’am tap her back and wished her more such achievements and a bright future.

National Sports Day Celebration

Celebrations to commemorate the Foundation Day of PEFI and National Sports Day in memory of Major Dhyan Chand were conducted on 28th and 29th August respectively in M.M. Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura with great enthusiasm.
The day aims to raise awareness about the values of sports - discipline, perseverance, sportsmanship, teamwork and to encourage the students to take up sports and make it an integral part of their lives while emphasizing the importance of being fit and healthy. Students took part in various Intra-school sports events like throw ball, yoga, handball, table tennis etc. which were conducted exclusively for them. Honourable Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak graced both events and highlighted the achievements of Major Dhyan Chand. She motivated the students to learn from those achievements and to participate actively and enthusiastically in sports. She laid stress on the holistic development of the students and the importance of sports and fitness in achieving holistic development.

Janmashtami Celebration by Tiny Tots

Krishna Janmashtami, the festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu was celebrated with great fervour by the Pre-Primary Wing on August 18, 2022.

The Little kids came traditionally dressed as Radha and Krishna. The presentation depicted the varied roles from the life of Krishna.

The splendidly beautiful presentation like twirling dances, Joyous melodies and role plays were appreciable.

The sparkling festival was commemorated in a beautiful manner leaving Lord Krishna’s teachings as a guiding light for all of us to follow.

Janmashtami Celebration

“Let the spirit of holy Krishna & Radha bless your soul with eternal happiness”.

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated on Thursday, 18th August 2022 among the students of classes II-VIII in the school premises with mirth and joy. The fragrance of flowers, the soothing aroma of camphor and the jingle of bells filled the surrounding with positivity. While this religious importance is not lost, this day signifies a lot more to modern India, it signifies excitement, euphoria and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, the students dressed up as lord Krishna poised with flutes, peacock feathers and matkas marked divine arrival. The premises was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with Krishna Leela depicting the birth and life history of Lord Krishna. The celebration that followed was truly entertaining and educating. A lot of fun-filled activities were conducted such as making of matki, flute, swing, beautiful crown of Lord Krishna. The purpose of the flamboyant celebration was to inculcate the value of spiritual fervor among the students. Thus, the students had a great time participating in the celebration ardently.

Excursion to ISKCON Temple

Every festival, occasion or milestone in life is celebrated by visiting the Temple first.
In order to seek the blessings of the Almighty students of the pre-primary section were taken to ISKCON Temple on August 8th, 2022. The educational excursion was a great learning experience for little children. Children chanted the mantra “Hare Rama, Hare Krishna” and Danced on their beats too. Delicious Prasad was served by the Priest of Temple (Khichdi and Bananas). Prasad was relished by the young devotees.

The visit was an apt example of learning beyond the classroom.
