Rally on Save Tiger by Eco and Heritage Club

To spread awareness about Save Tiger a rally on 17th July 2017 was organized by the students of ECO CLUB and HERITAGE CLUB near the school and District Park of Pitampura. The students prepared banners with quotations and Pamphlets were also distributed.The students met old age people in District Park who not only appreciated the initiative taken by the school but also handed a bouquet of flower to teachers and students. On the whole the rally was very much motivative and informative for the students and people around.

SAVE TIGERS

Statistical Analysis disseminating message Save the Tigers by Maths & Science Club

PROJECT TIGER is a wildlife conservation movement initiated in India in 1972 to protect tigers. It is our national animal which was going to be endangered.

To create awareness among students of Science Club, a PowerPoint presentation was shown on 17 July 2017 on the topic SAVE TIGER. It helped them to learn a lot about the ways to know about the conditions of tiger in all over world.

On the same day students of Maths Club also were sensitized about the decreasing population of the tigers. The activity included the slides on the population of tigers in different countries, why they are being hunt or other reasons for decline in their numbers. Students were also told about the project SAVE TIGERS started by the governments of different countries. The presentation was done with the help of statistical analysis tools like pie chart and graphs to make it simpler for the students. The activity concluded with the slide which showed rise in the numbers of tigers as the effect of project SAVE THE TIGERS.

Principal Madam appreciated the presentation and had a motivational interaction with students. 

WRESTLING ZONAL COMPETITION

WRESTLING ZONAL COMPETITION

It was an honour for the school when following students of achieved positions in Wrestling Zonal Competition held at S.V KAILASH ENCLAVE on 15th July 2017. Result was as follows :

ADITYACHOUBEY (96 KG) of class XI got 1st Position.

KARTIK (105 KG) of class XI got 2nd Position.

FLAMELESS COOKING

Flameless Cooking Activity by IV Class

Eating is a necessity but Cooking Is an Art.

To develop the sense of creativity, confidence and teamwork a flameless cooking activity was conducted on July 14 2017 for the students of class IV.

Students prepared Peanut Butter Slice with the guidance of the teacher. They also learned about the nutritional value of the ingredients used like almonds, raisins and cashew. They also showed their creativity in decorating and presenting it. The activity turned to be worthy as all the teachers appreciated the dish.

Cleanliness Drive by SAC Club

To impart the habit of keeping the surroundings clean among the students of class - VI TO IX CLEANLINESS DRIVE was conducted in the school premises on 13th July 2017. Students not only participated enthusiastically while cleaning their classrooms but also got motivated to spread the message of cleanliness in their neighborhood. All in all the activity was motivating for the students. 

INTERNATIONAL FELICITATION

It was the prestigious moment for the school when our Hon?ble Principal Madam Mrs. ROOMA PATHAK along with the teachers Mrs. Renuka Sharma, Mrs. Neeru Vij, Mrs. Bobby Narula, Mrs.Sunita, Mrs. Sandhya, Mrs. Priti were conferred with NATIONAL POPULATION EDUCATION AWARD on 11th July 2017 at Women's Empowerment Summit held at India International Centre Lodi Estate, New Delhi amidst the gathering of great personalities like Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi one of the  Member of Parliamentthe national spokesperson of B.J.P. and also a lawyer in the Supreme court; Shri Shankaracharya Onkaranand Sarastvatiji Maharajji along with  Ambassador of Nepal and Ambassador of Solvania.

PLANTATION DAY

Tree plantation drive was organized on 13 July 2017 to celebrate PLANTATION DAY. It was an initiative taken by Eco-Club students to save our environment where various saplings of ornamental and shady trees were planted by Principal Madam Ms. Rooma Pathak, and the students of middle wing of the school. The programme proved to be a great success under the guidance of Ms. Tanpreet Kaur (Eco-Club Incharge) and thus was able to spread the message.

HAWAN

To start the day of the student with holy mantras and to take the blessings for bright future a Hawan was organised for classes LKG & UKG on 12-7-17.

Students said prayer and enchanted mantras especially the Gayatri Mantra. They learned about the importance of spirituality and prayers. After that they got Prasad which they enjoyed together.

ABP NEWS NATIONAL EDUCATION AWARDS

It is a matter of great pride and pleasure when Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak, M. M. PUBLIC SCHOOL, Vasudha Enclave, Pitam Pura was felicitated with the National Education Award for Best Principal by ABP News Channel on 6th July 2017 in Mumbai for acknowledging her dedication, sincerity, devotion, hard work, honesty and outstanding innovative performance as a leader in the field of Education at International Levels and the raised standards of the school.

International Yoga Day

Keeping spirit of International Yoga Day alive, a four day training camp on the occasion of International Yoga Day for boys was organized at GBSSS BADLI from 18 to 21 June 2017 by 2DLBN, DELHI under the supervision of Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel SONALI TYAGI.

Notwithstanding the fact that the schools were observing summer vacation, a lot of students who were enrolled in NCC took part enthusiastically in the Yoga camp which was very helpful for the students as they learnt various Aasanas and Pranayama and came to know about the relevance of Yoga in day to day life.
