It was a matter of great honor when the school received AYUSH Friendly School of the year Award on March 29, 2018 on the occasion of Yoga and Naturopathy Summit in the Auditorium of India International Centre, Lodi Estate, New Delhi. . The award was conferred to Principal madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak, along with the teachers students amidst loud cheering.
It was a prestigious moment for the school when our Hon'ble Principal Madam Mrs. ROOMA PATHAK along with the teachers Ms. Jyoti Kaur, Ms. Sandhya Sharma , Ms. Kiran Singh, Ms. Shivangi, Ms. Rashmi Mishra, Ms. Tanpreet Kaur was felicitated by Spiritual and Value Education(SAVE) award on 13th March, 2018 at Multipurpose Hall at India International Centre, Lodi Estate, New Delhi on the occasion of World Spiritual Parliament .The ceremony was presided over by Dr. P.R. Trivedi the chancellor of Confederation of Indian University. The invited teachers were deeply appreciated for their sincere efforts of highlighting the importance of Spiritual and Value Education among the students and also rewarded for their effective roles in the area of same. Thus, this ceremony was highly motivating and inspiring for the teachers.
Another feather was added to the glorious crown of MMPS when Project made by Pratima of class XI on the topic of How to live a sustainable life was selected as one of the best 12 entries out of total 326 entries. The programme 7 DAYS CHALLENGE organized by TERI School of Advance Studies in collaboration with Embassy of Sweden in the month of January. She was awarded for the same project under the guidance of subject expert teachers in the school.
It was a beautiful spring day when the Pre-primary and Primary students of the school celebrated festival of colours, Holi on March 1st, 2018. Students enjoyed splashing eco-friendly colors on each other and also on their teachers. Excited students also learnt the significance of this festival of colours, togetherness and universal brotherhood.
Our school experienced a true explosion of colour and children had a great time!
Another feather was added to the cap of M.M. Public School when special prize was awarded to the school for maximum participation in the ALL INDIA 5th KOREA - INDIA FRIENDSHIP ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2017 on Why I Want To Visit South Korea organized by Korean Cultural Centre India.The Respected Principal madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak congratulated the teachers and students for their sincere efforts and asked them to keep it up.
MMPS believes in giving platform to all the talents, and to showcase the outstanding talents of our tiny tots the school has organized the Student of the Year function for session 2017-18 to appreciate and motivate the students of classes L.K.G. and U.K.G. A lot of preparations were made by the students and teachers. Principal Ma?am Mrs. Rooma Pathak graces the event with her presence and honoured the students in various categories as Chirpy Student, Punctual Student, Upbeat Student, Generous Student etc. Audiences were spellbound, mesmerized and fascinated by the performances of the students.
Amarnath G. & Deepika neja from L.K.G. and Yana Bhagat & Tiyansh Singh of U.K.G. became the Students of the Year. All in the entire event was a successful and memorable for all.
It was a moment of great joy and pleasure when Harsh Chaudhary was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 750/- for winning the 2nd position in Inter district Cultural Competitions for English Extempore (Senior Category). The Award Distribution Ceremony was organized by Directorate of Education at Chhatrasal Stadium on February 16th, 2018.
Another feather was added to the cap of the School when Rahul Bhutani of class XI secured 3rd position in Extempore Speech Competition at IIT DELHI on 10th February 2018 on the topic Future of Life on Earth - Role of Disruptive Technologies for delivering his thoughts effectively and confidently. The school congratulates him on his great success.
School is proud of its scholar Shashvat Gupta of Class XI on being awarded Certificate of Merit for being placed in National Top 1% out of 19923 candidates enrolled in National Standard Examination in Astronomy (NSEA) conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers in association with Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). The examination was conducted in November and the results were declared in January 2017.
