Celebration of Mothers Day by Mont students

Mothers hold their children's hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.

 You don't need a specific day to show love and affection to your mother, but there is no harm in dedicating a special day for all the loving moms around the world. This is the day to celebrate and show gratitude to our guardian angel.

On 11th May 2018, an activity on Mother's Day was conducted for L.K.G. and U.K.G. students. Children made beautiful artifacts in a creative way to bring a smile on their beloved mother's face and to wish them Mother's Day. Students expressed themselves and presented their beautiful thoughts on love for mothers by singing rhymes in the class. Their love and affection was reflected in their creativity. Students learnt that Really life is incomplete without Mothers.

First-Aid Workshop by Health & Hygiene Club

First aid is the assistance given to any person suffering from a sudden illness or injury with care provided to preserve life. 

To enhance the knowledge on the above topic, a workshop was conducted by the Health and Hygiene Club on 10th May 2018. The students were told the importance of first aid kit along with its usage at appropriate time. The school medical incharge shared valuable tips on the usage of first aid kit. The young student were guided how to carefully use the medical kit and not let the sufferer panic. This workshop turned out to be very informative for students that when some mishap occurs as Prevention is better than cure.

ORIENTATION FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2018-19

A parent is a teacher at home, a teacher is a parent in school and the child is the centre of our universe.

An orientation programme was organized for the parents of Pre-primary and Primary wing V on 5 May 2018. The primary Incharge welcomed the parents of the primary classes to M.M.P.S fraternity. She shared the school vision, the curriculum, school systems, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities. She laid stress on effective communication between the teachers and parents and also sought their support and suggestions so that the best could be done for the overall development of the students. The orientation was very inspiring and enriching.

Data collection on Healthy Habits in Rural and Urban Area by Maths Club

To inculcate the healthy habits among the students, an activity on April 27, 2018 was organized by the Maths Club. The data showing the percentage of healthy habits of Rural and Urban areas was not only shown to the students but discussion was also held between them. Data was collected of Rural and Urban areas and was compared; various slides were shown to the students to create awareness of food habits followed in these areas. The students were given very useful tips to maintain healthy and hygienic environment.The students also pledged to follow all the healthy habits and maintain a hygienic environment. Thus, the activity was beneficial as they learnt the benefits of healthy food and personal hygiene.

APPLICATION WRITING

To build not only the linguistic skills among the students but also to enhance their writing skills, an Application Writing Activity was conducted on 7th May 2018  for the classes- III to X. The Students wrote an application addressed to the principal to organize a summer camp in the school. The students were assessed on the basis of format and the quality of their content. Thus, the activity was very informative and students participated enthusiastically in it .
