Primary PTM

A Parent Teacher Meet was held on October 13, 2018 to discuss the performance of students with their parents. Parents were given feedback on their wards performances in Formative and Summative Assessments and during class. Various projects, models, and posters of English, Science and Social Science were displayed in the school to bring out the creative skills of little MMPians.

It was a great interaction between the teachers and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements. The progress report for the first term was shown to the parents and their suggestions were noted.

The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that the progress of the students depends on the joint effort of parents and teachers. Overall, it was an interactive meet.

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION BY PRE- PRIMARY WING

Keeping the festive spirit alive and to mark lord Rama's victory over Ravan and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, pre-primary wing of MMPS celebrated Dussehra on October,16,2018 with great enthusiasm and energy. A special assembly was conducted, in which students spoke on the significance of the festival through beautiful quotes on Dussehra. The highlights of the program were spellbound and won the heart of spectators. Colorful attire worn by the children was appreciated by all.

Prize in Poster making competition organized by AIIMS

It was a matter of immense pride and glory when Megha Mandal of class VII, P.Vijay and Himanshu Pandey of class VIII received consolation prize and gift hamper on 4th October 2018 in the poster making competition organized by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Science All India Institute of Medical Science on the occasion of celebration of 33rd  Eye Donation fortnight held on 4th September 2018. Students of various schools in and around Delhi participated in large numbers. Our students were motivated by the cause and brought with them not only the learning but also the never forgettable experiences.

A Proud Moment

Sheetal Dewan, Our School Counsellor backed the best blogger award for her contribution in for an online magazine - Kidicious, Learning Differently.

Hawan of Class 6

To invoke the blessings of God for the growth and success of school and students, a Hawan Ceremony was conducted for Class VI on OCTOBER 10, 2018. All the rituals were performed by the priest. Students and Teachers participated with great zeal and exuberance. They chanted Gayatri Mantra. The ceremony was worthwhile in conveying religious beliefs to the pupils. Prasad was distributed to all. Blessings were given to all students.

Clown Race by Mont Students

Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity.

Keeping this in mind, students of L.K.G enthusiastically participated in "Clown Race" Sports Activity on September 28, 2018.

These activities develop physical abilities, balance and co-ordination.

English Recitation by Mont students

Reading through books is not only medium of learning, fun filled activities and competitions enhance the learning process of each individual. Keeping this in mind English Recitation Competition was organized for the pre-primary classes on September 27 & 28, 2018.

These kinds of activities help the child to develop confidence, improve vocabulary and also help the students to get rid of stage fear. Students performed different rhymes along with the actions and by using props. Children were assessed on the basis of expressions, voice modulation, props and pronunciation.

Show And Tell Vegetables Activity by Mont Students

Show and Tell is a key part of the school day and an important part of each child's learning development, as it helps them to organize information and build their confidence.

Children of L.K.G and U.K.G recalled the importance of eating vegetables through Show and Tell activity on September 18, 2018. Beautiful props made the whole presentation very attractive and students spoke with great credence.

These activities help in developing their coordination with a basic understanding of position and direction. Moreover, its a proven fact that whenever rhythmical energy is channelized, cognitive development speeds up for the better growth of an individual.

Position in SUPW Zonal Competition

SUPW Zonal exhibition on the topic "LORD GANESHA THE DESTRIYER OF DARKNESS" was held on Saturday 15th September 2018 at Sarvodaya Vidhyalaya, C Block Saraswati Vihar. Kaustabh and S. Abhinya of class VIII won the 1st prize and got qualified for the Centre level. Students were not only appreciated but also awarded with trophies and certificates. When asked about their inspiration they said that, at every step they learnt from teachers, their fellow students and other participating schools. The school wishes them all the best for the center level exhibition.
