Baisakhi Celebration

Vaisakhi , also known as Baisakhi, Vaishakhi, or Vasakhi is a historical and religious festival in Sikhism. It is usually celebrated on 13 or 14 April every year. On Friday, 12th April the students of M.M. Public School celebrated “The Harvest Festival – Baisakhi”, where the small kids of primary wing displayed their talents on the theme “Crafting Baisakhi”. Children were explained about the importance of the festival by showcasing the Punjabi culture. The motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the children of their rich culture and heritage. Colouring in the pictures related to the theme was done by the students of grade 2 in class. The turban making activity was done by the students of grade 3 in the class. Dhol making and kite making activity was also done by the grade 4 and 5 respectively. The kids had shown their creativity at its best. The school celebrated Baisakhi with zeal and great enthusiasm.

Life Skill Activity on Emergency Numbers

Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behavior that enable humans to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life.

To improve the skill of Self Awareness in the students, an activity of 'Learn Emergency Helpline Numbers' was conducted in class IV A on April 5, 2019 (Friday). This activity gave them a platform of learning and expressing their ideas. They learnt all the emergency helpline numbers and penned them down. This enhanced their overall development and raised their level of self-awareness.

Baisakhi Celebration by Mont Students

On Friday, 12th April students of Junior school L.K.G – I celebrated “The Harvest Festival – Baisakhi” (Dhol Dhamaka). The young and ambitious MMPians displayed great zeal and enthusiasm while showcasing Baisakh through various Punjabi Dances and Bhangra. The enjoyment continued as the budding poets set the day in motion with beautiful quotes – The day moved on as the young buds got busy in various Baisakhi activities. Our Revered Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak encouraged students to enjoy and respect all the festivals.

Indeed a colourful day.

Achievement in 16th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship 2019

It was a big honor when Maitreya Rana of class IX got golden opportunity to hit with India's number 1 tennis player Prajnesh and one and only all-time great Somdev at 16th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship 2019 organised by Amateur soft tennis federation of India at K.D SINGH BABU STADIUM , Lucknow from 27th to 31st March, 2019.

24 states participated in which in the men’s category Delhi boys’ team, alongwith Maitreya Rana was awarded Bronze Medal.

Let’s Be Healthy Activity by Classes II to V

Scholastic and co scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for the all-round development of the child. Keeping this in view, we at M.M. Public School conducted the Fancy Dress performance on fruits and vegetables, Uses of First-aid items, Action song and Wind-chime making for the children where they displayed their talents on the theme “Go Healthy”. The purpose of conducting these activities was to make students aware about how they can improve their health and maintaining balance between their body and mind. The Fancy Dress performance was done by the students of grade 2 in class where the students represented them as different fruits and vegetables. The other activity was of uses of first-aid items performed by students of grade 3 on the stage and they did it with Great Spirit and confidence. Another activity that was done on stage was Action Song done by the students of grade 4 with proficiency in their language. The activity in which the students made wind chimes of different shapes and showcased their talents by showing different healthy habits. The competition proved to be great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.

The new session 2019-2020 began on 1st April 19 with a graceful day for our new comers. Little MMpians were elated with the variety of activities like Hit the Target, Limbo Activity, Fun Races etc. The interactive puppet show on good habits was organized for the little ones which was a perfect setting for an ideal start to a long exciting journey amidst a beautifully and attractively decorated Nursery corridor. We are sure that our little peals will have a wonderful year ahead, as our days are filled with abundance of Love and Laughter.                                                                           

Varnmala Activity for class I

“The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled”.

The bright eyed MMpians of Grade 1 were excited to learn the concept of Varnmala.

This activity was taken up as an extension of the concepts of Swar and Vyanjan which further improvised the children to learn the entire varnmala in sequence.

Concluding the Session 2018-19

Congratulations to all the little pearls of Junior School (Nur to I) for the successful completion of the academic session 2018-2019. The parents, teachers and the little MMPians experienced an amalgamation of feelings on the day of final P.T.M i.e. on 25 March 2019. They were looking forward to a new beginning and all were excited for the upcoming session. At the same time a feeling of nostalgia was apparent in the gestures. The parents showered love for the teachers and the incharge through their valuable feedback on their journey in the session. It is indeed a pleasure to go through the appreciations pieces which parents showered for the educators.

Holi Celebration

Celebrations are a great friend, even if Academic year draws to an end. Little pearls of MMPS celebrated festival of colours “HOLI” on 15th March 2019 with lots of joy and verve by spreading the fragrance of brightness and friendliness.

The celebration started with a special assembly in which students were taught about the story of “Holika Dehan”

The Principal of the school, Mrs. Rooma Pathak counselled the students to play safe Holi and keep away from synthetic colours. Students were delighted to play “PHOOLON KI HOLI” with Principal Ma’am and teachers.
