Anti-Cracker Rally was organized by Eco-Club on 2nd October 2014 to create awareness about harmful effects of burning crackers among the residents of Shalimar Bagh near Sheesh Mahal. More than 50 students of class IXA & XI F participated with great enthusiasm. Students prepared attractive posters and banners with strong message against burning crackers. Pamphlets were distributed & students had interaction with local people. During rally students enlightened the residents about harmful effects of air and noise pollution through slogans and door to door counseling. Thus rally was successful in emphasizing the need for celebrating an Eco-friendly Diwali.

Anti Plastic Rally was organized by Eco-Club on 1 October 2014 create awareness about environmental degradation caused by plastic bags. About 50 students participated in rally to enlighten the visitors of Shish Mahal about the harmful effects of plastic bags such as littering the landscape & are non biodegradable. Students prepared posters and banners with great zeal depicting hazards of polythene bags and plastic. Pamphlets regarding the cause were also distributed. Eco club Incharge Ms Suman & Health & Hygiene Incharge Ms Charu extended their support and took the initiative in spreading the message:-

Akshay Urja Diwas was observed on 20th SEPTEMBER 2014. It was an initiative taken by Eco Club students to create awareness about the development of renewable energy in our country. Anjali Pandey & Mehak khurana of class XIA shared her views on the importance of renewable energy to solve problems of energy crisis. Riya & Ritu of class XA motivated students to protect environment by using renewable energy through their speeches and poems. The programme proved to be a success under the guidance of Ms. Suman Bala (Eco-Club Incharge) and thus was able to spread the message

Students of M.M. Public School, Pitampura participated in Zonal North West B Basketball Competition held on 2nd -5th September at Bal Bharti Public School. Many schools participated in tournament and out of all our students bought laurels for our school by bagging 1st position in U-14 and U-17 Category and 3rd position in U-19 category. Overall, it was the strenuous efforts of the students which excelled them and the school to the glorious heights of success.

Our students at computer club love to work on computer learn new thing on it and unleash their potential.

For a month senior students were made learn the Video-Editing and about Effects of Climate Changes. Student searched the information about effects of climate changes from Internet, downloaded many videos and then they made their own video explaining about effects of climate changes.

And also primary students worked on Powerpoint presentation on Healthy diet. Students presented a very good piece of work and gave the presentation very confidently.

On the day of competition i.e. on 1st September 2014 (Monday) students presented their videos and presentation alongwith the speech about climate changes and students work was well appreciated by Activity Incharge and Academic Incharge.

As a whole it was an opportunity for students to learn and implement their learning. Students were well appreciated and motivated by HOD (Comp. Sc.) Mrs. Tarvinder Kaur and efforts of computer club teacher Mrs. Simmi Sehgal was applauded.

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav ,  Tree  Plantation  Drive was organized on 28th august  2014. It was an initiative taken by Eco Club students to save our mother Earth. Various saplings of ornamental and shady trees were planted by Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak and the tiny tots of the school. A special programme was conducted in the morning assembly, Nikita of XA gave speech and highlighted the problems of Global Warming, Deforestation and Overpopulation also Jagriti of XA gave a motivating speech that encouraged the students to plant more and more trees in order to save planet Earth. Riya and Ritu of XB recited poems on vanishing trees and the need to conserve them. The programme proved to be a great success under the guidance of Eco Club Incharge, Ms. Suman Bala and thus was able to spread the message

"Plant More Trees to Save Planet Earth"

The  heritage  club  of the school organized quiz  competition  "know  your  heritage"  in  the  school  premises  on  25 August  2014. The students from classes IX-XI participated. There   were 3 teams with two members each.  It was a tough  competition with  variety of questions on :built heritage, natural heritage, arts and crafts and performing arts. There were three rounds namely written, visual and rapid fire. The rounds were enjoyed by the students .The quiz master Tanya Jini of XI-F made the rounds interactive with her presence of mind and knowledge. Nikita and Riya of class X-A were declared winners.   The competition was a success as students got to know about India?s heritage more deeply. 

Cricket competition was held on 22nd august between two teams GANGA and YAMUNA. The winner of this competition are the GANGA'S. The man of the match was TEJASUI.

To invoke the value of spirituality among the students Hawan was organized for class V on 22nd August 2014. Students participated with full enthusiasm under the guidance of their class teachers Ms. Shilpa and Ms Bhawna. Students touched the feet of priest after covering their heads with handkerchiefs to get his blessings .The students chanted Gayatri and Maha Mrityunjay mantra whose meaning was well explained by the priest.

Thus, it was all in all an enriching and motivating experience for them.

An intra school judo competition was organized in the school premises on 20th august 2014 under various categories. The weight wise categories were named as important river Ganga and river Nile. Students performed very nicely and confidently their skills in the judo specially the girls.
