The M.M Public School, Vasudha Enclave Celebrated Global Entrepreneurship Week with enterprise Little Hands at Work .The entrepreneur team was headed by Bhagyansha of class XII along with other co-team workers. The students showed their immense efforts and enthusiasm in working as a business team and sold many handicrafts products and food items. It made the students to become practically aware about how to run business to bring name, fame and profit for their business enterprise. While working it was being observed that the students were inculcated with the traits of a successful businessman.
MM Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura had organized "Smt. Krishna Pathak Memorial Tenth Inter school Painting and Craft Competition" on 26th November 2014 in the school premises as a tribute to one of the great founder member late Mrs . Krishna Pathak with the aim to create awareness about artistic activities and art itself.
Like every year the event was a grand success. It was a fully planned and perfectly managed event .The program commenced with a welcome song by the students of junior classes. Around 90 renowned schools of Delhi and NCR region comprising of about 3400 students participated in this competition. The whole program was segregated into three events. Event 1st was a drawing competition comprising of the students from pre nursery to class 12. Event 2nd and 3rd were craft competitions which included the students from 6th to 8th and 9th to 12th respectively. The themes were mostly related to environment and were inspirational. The painting made by the students attracted the attention of many. The competitors used waste and plastic material to make adorable artifacts.
The support of the Principal Mrs.Rooma Pathak and Director Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and the efficient guidance of the teachers and the efforts of the participants contributed to the success of the event.
The Readers club of the school organized quiz competition on the topic "Diversity of culture" in the school premises on 22nd November, 2014. The students from class X participated. There were 4 teams namely P.leo, P.tigris, P.pardus and Corvus sp. with two members each. It was a tough competition with variety of questions from the topic causes of Cultural Diversity. It was completely enjoyed by the students and had a real learning session. The quiz master Ayjaz Hussain of class XI cherished the students mind with wonderful questions. Team "Corvus sp." (Riya and Ritu) were declared as winners of the quiz competition. The event was graced with the presence of Activity Incharge Mrs. Neeru Vij who endorsed the success of the event with her words of appreciation. The competition was well organized by Reader club incharge Mrs. Usha.
School has always motivated and appreciated the talent in our students. School tries best to provide all the facilities so that student nurture their talent and bring best out of them. It was a moment of pride when Paarth Sharma of class XI showed outstanding performance in Lawn Tennis in Chamunda-AITA Talent Series in Under-16 category on 17th November 2014 held at Karnal, Haryana. He gave tough competition to his opponents and come out as a winner and brought laurel to school. School applauds on his success and wishes him more energy and strength for achieving success like these in future.
Special assembly was organized on 11th of November, 2014 in M. M. Public School. The theme of the assembly was "Education". Teachers and Students shared their views and prospects of education. After the assembly students came to know the importance of and value of education and also the aspects of education in future.
Road safety week was observed from 30-10-14 to 5-11-14. We have celebrated road safety week on 3rdNovember 2014 during special assembly. The program was started with a SPEECH on road safety by FALGUNI of class 1X A. A SKIT was then performed by the students of class IX A. After conveying the message of ROAD SAFETY through the skit, the information regarding ?Do?s and Don?ts? was also conveyed by sunny Sharma of 1X A. The PAMPHELTS on road safety rules were distributed to the entire school .The motive to create awareness among the students regarding road safety was achieved.
Water Cycle Bracelet making activity was organized by Health and Hygiene Club on 20th October 2014.
Students of class VI took part in it enthusiastically. Ms. Charu took the charge to conduct the activity. Blue, white and green color beads were used which represented three major parts of water cycle i.e. rain, evaporation and transpiration respectively. A bracelet was made with the help of these beads and thread. Kids enjoyed doing this activity and got to know about the proper working of water cycle in the environment.
