Enhancement of writing skills was done through an Article-Writing Activity on the topic ?Threat To Peace? on 24 July 2015.The students from class VI-IX and XI warmly participated and showcased their talent and original ideas. The great response of the students could be seen in their articles.The following students were selected and given prizes accordingly:

To instill the message of peace,harmony and brotherhood among students a Slogan -Writing  Activity on ?Peace? was conducted by English Club on 13 May 2015.Students from class VII,VIII and IX showed great zeal and enthusiasm. They penned down their  creative, imaginative and innovative ideas. All in all it was an inspiring activity for the students.

?The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.?

So in computer club we clear our doubts today only so that we have bright tomorrow. With this mindset we started an activity ?PowerPoint presentation on Indus Valley civilization.?

Students were made aware of the topic ?Indus Valley Civilization? and then instructions for the activity to be done were given, that how they can search more information and pictures through net and were also guided how they can surf internet safely. Few sessions were taken with students for making a perfect PowerPoint presentation and then students were given the systems for exploring and implementing their learning?s.

 Students searched internet on the topic ?Indus Valley Civilization? and not only made nice presentations they were able to present it perfectly.

Best presentations have also been exchanged with other countries who were also working on the same project. We also got few projects from that country which we showed to students and students comments on their presentations are saved.

On the day of competition i.e. 30th April 2015 students came well prepared with the presentation and deliver it very nicely. At the end result was declared which is as follows :

I Position : Vishal, Aftab and Sidharth of class X

II Position : Yash, Mohit and Bhanu of class X

III Position : Bhavik, Charvi, Aditya and Rhythm of class VIII

?If you don?t go after what you want, you will never have it.?

So in computer club we make the desire and start following it. With this mindset we started an activity ?Making blog on Peace and uploading Poster.?

First of all an interactive session with computer club students was conducted where everybody talked about peace. Teachers explained what it means to be in peace, students shared their experiences and views. Then we talked about spreading awareness for peace and social media is the best media through which we can reach to masses. So students were instructed to make blogs on the topic Peace.

Students searched internet for material related to Peace and not only made nice blogs they were able to get many likes and comments on their blogs. Students also uploaded poster made by Art & Craft club on the topic Peace.

A school blog has also been made which is shared by our partner countries in collaboration with British Council and is sharing our activities under the same project.

On the day of competition i.e. 15th May 2015 students came well prepared with their blogs and talked well about their blog and the topic peace. At the end result was declared which is as follows :

I Position : Vishal, Aftab and Sidharth of class X

II Position : Yash, Mohit and Bhanu of class X

III Position : Chirag, Karan and Satyam of class VIII

The little entrepreneurs of entrepreneurial club with the motive of diversifying their business items .They had another great plan of making kites .The students made colorful kites under the supervision of Ms.Charu. The kite making activity was undertaken by the team on 23-7-2015.

ACTIVITY :

We teachers of maths dept. conducted  this activity with students of primary, secondary classes . Students brought charts , colors, glaze papers and some of the decorative material.

Students were asked to collect information regarding the teams that took part in common wealth games 2015 and who won in any of the game or sport. Teachers guided children in making flags of the winning teams by telling them about the dimensions of the flag, logo of the common wealth games. Moreover , team members who won the game were also specified  by the teachers . Teachers and students collectively decorated the board .

LEARNING OUTCOMES :

• Students came to know about the countries that took part in common wealth games 2015
• Students are aware about flags and logos of the countries .
• Team members of winning teams are also very well known by students.
• Students are now having knowledge regarding games of common wealth games 2015

CONCLUSION :

• Students have now knowledge of dimensions of flag of different countries
• Application  of ratio and proportion is inculcated to students

It was a moment of immense pleasure when following students of M.M Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura achieved 3rd position (Got 5 points out of 6)  in Chess zonal tournament held on 23rd July 2015  at  APEEJAY,  Pitampura.

TOPIC:  To study different parts of various leaves.

ACTIVITY:

1. Collection of different leaves from their surroundings.
2. Pasting of leaves in scrapbook.
3. Labeling different parts of the leaves.  

LEARNING OUTCOME:

1. Students researched about different leaves in their locality.
2. They are able to identify different parts of various leaves.
3. They have become sensitive towards the plants as well as environment.
4. It enhanced creativity among students.

•  The activity was conducted successfully. Children learned and enjoyed throughout the activity. The scrapbooks have been stored for future reference.

The activity on ?Self Introduction? done in classes in L.K.G and U.K.G on 27th April 2015.Students confidence shows their urge to learn more and more. The Activity helped children in coming out of their comfort zone and speaking in a group.
