BASKET BALL INTER ZONAL COMPETITION

It was a moment of immense pleasure when following students achieved top positions in different categories in Basket Ball Inter Zonal Tournament at Chhatrasal Stadium, Delhi.

Paper Folding - Christmas Tree

The children are very creative by nature. They love to explore and experimenting new things. To nurture their talent of Pre-Primary students, MMPS organized an activity named as Paper Folding- Christmas Tree on 6th and 7th December 2016. During this activity, children showed their creativity by folding origami sheets into triangles to make beautiful Christmas trees. Students enthusiastically participated in the activity. All in all this activity turned out to be exciting and enjoyable for the students.

HAWAN CEREMONY OF CLASS IX

To invoke the feeling of spirituality among the students, a Hawan Ceremony was organized for class IX on 9th DECEMBER, 2016. The students were enlightened with the mantras recited. The priest explained the holy mantras. The students participated with enthusiasm under the guidance of Mrs. Parul Gupta, Mrs. Manisha Yadav and Ms. Surbhi and took the blessings. They were delighted to receive ?Prasad?. It developed a feeling of hope and faith towards our almighty. All in all, it was an enriching experience for the students.

Victory in CBSE National Lawn Tennis Tournament

It was a moment of immense pleasure when M.M. Public School Tennis Team bagged various medals in CBSE National Lawn Tennis Tournament held from 1st December 2016 to 5th December 2016 at Billabong High International School.

Profound Results were as follows :

·         Gold Medal in Under-19 Boys Team and Under-14 Boys Individual.

·         Bronze Medal in Under-19 Girls Team, Under-14 Boys Team and Under-19 Mixed Doubles.

 

·         Silver Medal in Under-19 Girls Individual.

Celebration of Halloween Day by Tiny Tots

Halloween is a festival of fun for kids. MMPS organized a Halloween party for Pre-Primary students on 29th December 2016. Children were awfully dressed up as little ghosts, monsters or witches. Children loved to play different games full of spiders and ghosts. They moved from one place to another and cried ?trick or treat?. Children loved to dance like ghosts. Later on, the candies were kept as a trick for the students. All in all this activity turned out to be a beautiful and enjoyable experience for the students.

ISA Award Ceremony 29.11.2016

M M Public School , Vasudha Enclave , Pitam Pura , received the prestigious British Council , International School Award (ISA) for the second time in a sparkling award ceremony held at New Delhi on Tuesday  29 November 2016. The award was conferred to revered Mrs. Rooma Pathak (Principal) and venerable Mr.Somesh Rishi Pathak (Director) in recognition of exemplary practices of Internationalism , use of ICT, creative and innovative teaching methodology, collaborations  and productive learning with the schools worldwide.School started the journey of ISA in 2012 and was accredited with the ISA  Award  2013-16.

The second journey of ISA award 2016-19 was an exciting as the first one . The school with its embedded international ethos has been a great source of global exposure  to the students and teachers . The school would like to thank its  international partners from U.K. , Srilanka and Pakistan, who collaborated constantly to complete the projects 

SMT. KRISHNA PATHAK MEMORIAL TWELFTH INTER SCHOOL PAINTING AND CRAFT COMPETITION

To pay homage to the founder of the school Late Smt. Krishna Pathak   Twelfth Inter School Painting and Craft Competition was organized on 30 November 2016 in M.M. Public School, Vasudha Enclave, Pitampura amidst great fervor and enthusiasm. The event was graced by honourable Ms Rajni Gandhi, General Secretary- TRAX (Alliance Advocate for Road Safety). She was given a warm welcome bythe Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal Madam Mrs, Rooma Pathak.

The Competition in the memory of the founder commenced with a welcome song by the students of class V, VI, VII and X .About three thousand four hundred students from 110 schools under various categories painted their vivid imagination in diverse colours on different topics like "Lack of Road Safety Leads To Morality", "Contemporary Women Better Than Their Predecessors", "No Water No Survival", "Energy Conservation: Necessary For Future Generation" and many others..  .

 

The whole competition was divided into three events. Event one comprised of Painting Competition for classes Pre-nursery to XII, Event two was Craft Competition for class VI to VIII on the theme 3D Mural and Event three was Craft Competition for class IX to XII on the theme Sculpture.

The General Secretary (Road Safety),  Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak appreciated and applauded the young artists for their commendable work in presenting variant styles and techniques in different forms of art.

Thus Smt. Krishna Pathak Memorial Twelfth Inter School Painting and Craft Competition was a great success where the young budding artists got a golden opportunity to express their creative ideas and emotional responses.

Painting Competition by SAC Club

To create awareness and enhance the creativity of the students, Painting Competition was organized by SAC (Swachhta Ambassador Committee) for the students of class I to X during the month of November, 2016. Not only the students participated with great enthusiasm but also showed their creativity in a very innovative way. Through this activity, they encouraged the fellow students to undertake hygiene and sanitation as a priority to live a healthy life.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR ROAD SAFETY

In consonance with the initiatives taken to promote Road Safety under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak as a major social problem and to reduce the road crashes on the Indian roads, three students Dev Agnani, Kartik Madan and Ansh Gupta of Class VIII attended   LEADERSHIP TRAINING on 26 Nov organized by Road Safety and Emergency services (ROSES) to develop Leadership Skills and initiate the functioning of School's Road Safety Club more effectively and   at an elaborative level.

The students were titled as Road Safety Ambassadors and presented the Training Certificates.

WORLD DAY OF REMEMBRANCE 20.11.2016

World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (WDR) is commemorated on the third Sunday of November every year .This year students from Middle Classes participated in the event organized by TRAX ( Road Safety Ngo) at Jantar Mantar on 20.11.2016 .Around 250 students from various schools and colleges participated in the event. Students presented a Nukkad Natak sending out the message for the need to create awareness to obey road safety to avoid road   crashes. Aditya Yadav of class IX and Dev Agnani of class VIII delivered heart touching speech for observance of Road Safety as a Social As Well As Personal Responsibility. Students also distributed road safety pamphlets people attending the event.
