To celebrate the birth anniversary of renowned mathematician Srinvas Ramanujan and to improve the mathematical skills of the students of class I to IX. National Mathematics Day was celebrated on 22nd Dec 16. The whole week from 22nd Dec to 28th Dec 16 was observed as Ganit Saptah. Puzzles, Sudoku, models, constructions were organized to brighten the skills of students. Samay and Aditya Yadav of class IX not only recited poems on mathematics in assembly but an informative speech on importance of mathematics was also given by Jhanvi of class VIII. The celebration proved to be educative and informative for connecting mathematics concepts with real life situations. 

Christmas  festival is celebrated on December 25th every year. To invoke a feeling of spirituality among the students Christmas was celebrated on 23rd December 2016 ,the students of M.M.P.S. were highly thankful to the  respected Principal  Ms. Roma Pathak Mam, for joining the kids in the celebration.The students participated in the Christmas Carol.
To develop the motor skills an activity ? cap race?  was conducted for Pre-Primary Classes. The students enjoyed the thrilling race and won it with their efforts. This activity enhance team work and sportsman ship among the students. The students wholeheartedly participated in another activity ?Paper Folding Christmas Tree?

Moral values are being forgotten among the younger generation of today, so to create the awareness among the students, about the oneness of our nation, its religion and spirituality MMPS took great pleasure to organize the special assembly on 22nd of December 2016 for the celebration of Christmas. A skit describing the birth of the Jesus was played on the stage followed by Christmas carol. The students from class V, VI, VII, XI and X participated. They graced the occasion by singing lovely songs. The whole program ended with the best wishes of the Santa clause.

Students enjoyed the whole program and also took oath to make this Christmas ?merry for the poor and the needy?

It was a moment of pride when Navjot Singh Sekhon of class 12th bagged 2nd position in inter zonal handball tournament held at FU- block Pitampura, New Delhi on 28th November -2nd December 2016

The Science,Mathematics and Environment Exhibition for children was organized by the Directorate of Education ,Science and TV branch,  Govt.of NCT of Delhi on 22nd and 23rd December 2016. The students Shivam and Shubham of class X participated with zeal on sub theme S.U.P.W and won first prize at state level on the topic Kabad se Jugad bringing laurels to the school.Students were applauded and apreciated for their sincere efforts. It was highly enriching and motivational for the students.

It was a moment of immense pleasure when MANSI BAL of class XI achieved II position in Painting Competition on the theme of Road safety organized by Gyan Mandir Public School. Naraina Vihar. Delhi.

To enhance the knowledge of the students regarding the famous cuisines of the world a project making was conducted by Heritage Club on 13th December 2016 on the topic history of famous cuisines. A questionnaire was prepared on different cuisines of the world and the students were able to fill it by doing a survey around their neighborhood.

It was fun filled activity as students not only enhance their knowledge but they enjoyed doing this fun activity.

To appreciate the creativity of the students an activity Picture book of National and International recipe was conducted on 9th November, 2016.  The students from Class VIII participated in the activity and created a picture booklet of different recipes of different nations like Chinese, Japanese and Germany etc.  Through this activity students learnt about the different recipes around the world.  This creativity, thus promoted the knowledge of different foods of different nations.  All in all, it was an enriching experience for the students.
