INVESTITURE CEREMONY

To inculcate the values of leadership, sense of commitment and dedication investiture ceremony was held in M.M PUBLIC SCHOOL on 17th August 2017, amidst the presence of Honorable Principal Mrs. Rooma Pathak. Head Boy Mayank Sahni and Head Girl Himanshi received badges along with the Assistant Head Girl, Assistant Head Boy, Sports Head Boy and Sports Head Girl, junior head Boy Lakshay Shukla and Junior Head Girl Nandini   along with the House Captains and Prefectorial Board Members.  All these students pledged to uphold the tradition and values of the institution and perform their duties with sincerity and dedication. Principal Madam congratulated the Students and expressed hope that hand in hand the newly elected Council and Prefectorial Board would help to maintain discipline and cleanliness in school and by their efforts to bring Honour and Glory to the school while taking the Oath. The new appointees expressed their gratitude towards the Principal Ma?am and the staff members who entrusted them with positions of such responsibility. 

Independence Day Celebration in Special Assembly

Freedom in the Mind,

 

Faith in the words ?

Pride in our souls ?

To pay homage to the mother nation and to mark the patriotic spirit and fervor on the celebration of 70th Independence Day a Special Assembly was organized by the different houses on 11th August 2017 in the school premises with great enthusiasm. The program started with the song devoted to the mother land which was followed by the dramatization on the different social issues by the students of classes VI to VIII. Dev Agnani of class-IX gave an inspirational speech and enlightened the students about the 75th Quit India Movement. The Students of class-V recited a poem based on patriotism which created patriotic fervor among the students. The program ended with an inspirational speech given by our Honorable Principal Madam Mrs. Rooma Pathak who also motivated the students to take a pledge to give respect to the nation. Thus the celebration created the feeling among the students that our nation is an abode of peace and unity.

JANAMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

Janmashtami, is the birthday of lord Krishna which is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. It is believed that lord Vishnu reincarnated in the form of Lord Krishna on the auspicious day of Janmashtami. The historical background of the birth of Lord Krishna depicts the significance of this Hindu festival. Lord Krishna was born at midnight on the eighth day of Hindu lunar month, Shravana. So our tiny tots celebrated Janmashtami by doing role play stories of Lord Krishna, bhajan chanted by L.K.G students and dance performance by U.K.G class on 11th August 2017.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration by Tiny Tots

Rakhi, the festival of brothers and sisters, was celebrated in the school on 4th August 2017 by the students of classes LKG and UKG.

 Girls tied Rakhi on boys wrist and in return boys gave gifts to girls. They learned how this festival celebrates the bond of love between brother and sister when sister ties Rakhi on brother?s wrist and in return brother promises to protect sister and look after her well being for the rest of her life. Also he gives her a token of love.


All in all it was a day filled with fun and frolic.

Friendship Day celebration by Tiny Tots

A friend shares all ups and downs in life. Friendship is a band which ties two or more souls together. On 2nd August 2017 Friendship day was celebrated by tiny tots of MMPS.

Children had celebrated friendship day with messages, quotes, and friendship bands and expressed their feelings to their dear most friend.

Cut and Paste Activity by Tiny Tots

Cutting origami gives children a chance to sit down with teachers or parents and interact while creating something.

Paper cutting activity was organized for students of pre-primary classes on 24th and 25th July 2017, where students enjoyed making a Butterfly and Tree by cutting papers with the help of teachers. Students not only enjoyed doing the activity but they were quite confident and satisfied after seeing their creation, and they will remember the joy of cut and paste. 

Show N Tell- Self Introduction & My Family

Show and tell is a key part of the school day and an important part of your child's learning development, as it helps them to organize information and builds their confidence.

Thus a show & tell activity is organized in classes L.K.G & U.K.G on the topic Self Introduction & My Family on 24th July 2017 and 25th July  2017.

Students were encouraged and showed their interest in the topic. Their creativity was shown and they got the chance to think outside the box a little and invited their teacher and classmates to come into their own little world for a minute or two.

Teej Celebration by Tiny Tots

Montessori students celebrated Teej festival on 26th July 2017 by swinging the swings and enjoying songs alongwith. Beautiful mehndi designs were drawn on girl?s hands by the teachers on account of Teej celebration. They were also told about the festival and all enjoyed the day to the fullest.

 

HAWAN OF CLASS IV AND V

To start the day with the blessings of God , a Hawan was organized for the students of classes IV and V on 9th  August  2017. Students performed the rituals of Hawan whole heartedly and enchanted the mantras with full enthusiasm. They also learned the ways and benefits of hawan . All in all it turned out to be a knowledgeable and devotional as the whole premises echoed with the Saraswati Mantra.
