Selection for State level in SUPW Exhibition

SUPW exhibition on the topic PAPER SE JUGAD was held from 15th November to 17th November 2017 at Science Center - 1, SU Block, Pitampura where Komal and Muskan of class IX and Shivani and S. Abhinya of class VII won the 1st prize and got qualified for the State level. Students were not only happy to win but also were enthusiastic about the next level. When asked they said that at every step they learnt a lot from teachers, their fellow students and other participating schools. So the competition was highly enriching and successful. The school wishes them all the best for the state level exhibition.

Hawan Ceremony

To develop a feeling of spirituality among the students, a Hawan Ceremony was organized for class VIII on 17th November, 2017. The students were enlightened with the mantras recited. They were delighted to receive Prasad. It invoked a feeling of hope and faith towards our almighty. All in all, it was an enriching experience for the students.

Celebration of National Education Day

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a special assembly was organized on the occasion of the National Education Day on 17th November 2017 in the school assembly. The students were enlightened about the contribution of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad in the field of education. Thus, it turned out to be quite enriching and informative for the students as well as for the teachers.

Selection in NTSE Exam

It is a proud moment for the school that SHASHVANT GUPTA of class XI-B has been selected in the prestigious NTSE examination which is conducted by NCERT in two stages. His selection has brought laurels to the school.

Achievement in Basketball Inter Zonal competition

We are proud to announce the positions achieved in various categories in both boys and girls team in Basketball Inter Zonal competition held from 30th October to 4th November 2017 at Chhattrasaal Stadium, Delhi.

  • Jai Prakash (IX), Amit (XI), Ashish (IX), Himanshu (IX), Sahil (IX) won I position in UNDER-17 Boys
  • Akash (XI), Gaurav Rathi (XI), Sourabh (XI), Amrinder (XI) won II position in UNDER-19 Boys

Achievement in Handball Inter-Zonal Competition

It was a moment of pleasure when Krish of class VI and Adnan of class VII achieved First Position in Under- 14 in Handball Inter-Zonal Tournament held on 2nd and 3rd November, 2017 at F.U. Block, Pitampura.

Ikebana (Flower Arrangement) Workshop by Art & Craft Club

Ikebana (Flower arrangement) workshop was organized by Art and Craft Club on 2nd Nov 2017. Students of Class VI participated and filled the whole atmosphere with the colorful flowers. These young craftists made Ikebana with great enthusiasm. During this workshop student has learnt a lot about the Flower arrangement.

Road Safety tips by Road Safety Club

To create awareness among the students about measures to be taken on road, Road Safety Club invited Mr. Abdul Odud, ASI from Delhi Traffic Police in the morning assembly on 31 October 2017. The session enlightened the students by telling them about various real life incidents and necessity to be aware on roads. The interaction was very inspiring and informative for students as well as for the teachers.

SAVE TIGERS Activity by Heritage Club

To  save tigers from extinction and to create awareness among the students to conserve tigers A POSTER MAKING COMPETITION was conducted on 30 October 17  for the students of HERITAGE CLUB  AND ART & CRAFT CLUB. The students made creative and colourful posters expressing the message to save tigers. The students not only made their views clear but also learnt myriad of reasons for the tigers being endangered. All in all the activity was very informative as the students learnt the ways and need to save tigers.
