Hindi Calligraphy activity by pre-primary

Writing is an art! Every child should be skilled in writing at the initial stage of learning as it enhances the basic neatness in writing. Keeping this in mind Hindi Calligraphy Competition was organized for Pre – Primary classes on 17th July 2019.

It was a pleasant sight to watch those tiny hands working with their pencils and erasers to create a letter as beautiful as they could.

Rain water Drip…. Drop….Drip…

Students of Pre – Primary reveled themselves in the torrential rain, out with their umbrella – one more way to have fun to beat the sultry summer heat. It was indeed two days Rain water drip drop…. drip drop fun and learning for them. The very first day they had umbrella walk and also learnt about rain water uses for life. The second day kids leant Rain Water Harvesting.

Indeed, a day full of enjoyment.

‘SAFETY EXHIBITION

‘SAFETY  Is As Simple As ABC, ALWAYS BE CAREFUL’

To stimulate the measures of safety among the students and their parents, an exhibition and workshop was conducted on the day of PTM, i.e., July 20th, 2019 (Saturday).  The pupils of primary wing participated in this exhibition and showcased their creativity and speaking skills with the help of different props. They spoke about all the safety measures that should be followed at home, school and on road. The main points of these safety measures were: do not eat anything given by a stranger; playing or experimenting with fire is not allowed; we should not play with electric switches or appliances; we should not play with sharp and pointed objects like scissors, shaving blades and knives; we should not push or pull one another while climbing on stairs; we should not climb on desks and chairs in the class-room; while going on the road, we should keep to our left and don’t run on the road; we should always walk on the footpath.

Achievement in Atal Tinkering Fest

The festival of innovation and creativity ATL Tinker Fest was celebrated at Gyan Mandir Public School on 19th and 20th July 2019. Vedic, Bhuvnesh and Krishvardhan of class IX participated with a motive to implement their learnings and explore their possibilities and so as to become the Change Makers in the community.

It was a matter of proud that they were felicitated with the “Best Prototype” title among various schools.

Achievement in Wrestling Zonal Competition

It was a moment of immense pleasure when JAI BAJAJ of class VI achieved III Position in Wrestling Zonal Competition under 76kg weight category held on 18 July 2019 at FU Block Pitampura, Delhi.

Hawan of Class-VII

‘Hawan not only purifies and sanctifies the surroundings but also the minds of people’

To seek the divine blessings of the almighty for the students of class-VII, Hawan was organized on 17th July 2019. Students participated in the Hawan with great respect and devotion. They enchanted the mantras and also understood the value of these mantras in our life. The Hawan ceremony was culminated with the distribution of prasad to the students and the teachers.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON HEALTHY EATING

To develop the habit of healthy living, a special assembly was conducted on the theme “EAT HEALTHY” by the little champs of grade 2. The kids had spoken on the demerits of junk food and the merits of healthy food. They spread the message of balanced diet and all the nutrients that we get from food.

Yellow Color Day celebration

With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour Grade Pre School celebrated “Yellow Colour day” on 12th July,19’.

A day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with children outfitted in different hues and tints of yellow. Children were not only beautifully dressed in their preferred yellow dresses but also sang melodies on yellow colour and also danced with joy and vigour in their respective classes to make it a complete “Yellow Day”!

Class activities like finger printing in banana, tearing pasting in Sunflower etc. were taken up by the teachers. The teachers were beaming with pride when the confident little commentators described the yellow objects with expressiveness, flair and ease.

The motive of celebrating Yellow colour day was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills among the students. They spent the day with utmost enjoyment.

PACK A BAG RACE

When many children learn and play the games in the same way or at the same pace, children develop their motor and physical development in certain predictable way.

Little children of U.K.G class enjoyed playing pack a bag race and proved themself to be skilled and staggering player.
