MMPians again made us proud by achieving positions in Delhi State School Tennis Competition 2022-23 held at Thyagraj Stadium Delhi from 20th to 28th December 2022.
II Position was bagged in Under-17 category by Kumkum of class IX, III Position was bagged in Under-19 category by Ridhima Mishra of class XI, IV Position was bagged in Under-17 Category by Divya Ungrish of class IX.

“Every Ending has a new Beginning”
Farewell to students means to fare well in future and start a new beginning in a pleasurable manner. To bid adieu to the outgoing batch of session 2022-23 Farewell was organized.
The programme commenced with Hawan, to seek divine blessings of the Almighty for success in board exams, in which school students offered their Aahutis amidst chanting of Vedic hymns. The powerful energy of the various devotional mantras recited by Pandit Ji invoked the blessing of heavenly GODS for making them dedicated and hard working so that they can excel in upcoming exams.
It was followed by Farewell Party in Green Lounge, Pitampura on Saturday 7 January 2023. There were wonderful dance performances in colourful attire by the students of all the streams. Even teachers danced on foot-tapping numbers with the students. The esteemed presence of honourable presence of Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak motivated and encouraged all the students. All the class and subject teachers of class XII were a part of celebration which motivated and inspired all.
Principal Ma'am Mrs Rooma Pathak guided them to walk on the road of honesty with determination and wished them Good Luck to do well in exams and in the near future.
Farewell culminated with lunch and snacks and final blessings of Principal Ma'am and teachers. Students expressed their gratitude and promised to uphold the values received at school. They felt that they will never forget the memories of their days spent in school.
Hence the Farewell party ended with a hopeful and promising note.

The five-day CBSE National Tennis Championship 2022 came to a festive conclusion on 31 December 2022 with a grand closing ceremony organized on the sprawling campus of M.M. Public School. Director Sir Shri Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal Ma'am Mrs Rooma Pathak appreciated the untiring efforts of the players from CBSE affiliated schools from India & abroad and admired the school fraternity who successfully executed the event with dedication and commitment.
In this event, approximately 250 players of 67 teams participated with full zeal and determination. All the winners were awarded with trophies, Medals and Certificates in the grand event of closing ceremony on 31 December 2022. Results for the event were as follows.

MM Public School, since its inception in 1968 has been encouraging sports, especially Tennis with full zeal and enthusiasm and it was a proud moment when the school became host of CBSE National Tennis Championship 2022-23 in school premises.
In this five days event which started on Tuesday, 27 December 2022 and is scheduled to conclude on Saturday, 31 December 2022. Around 67 teams from National and International level registered and participated on the very first day of the event
The Opening ceremony of this grand championship was held in the presence of the Senior coach-Sports Authority of India Mr. Chander Bhushan Prasad and CBSE observer Mrs. Neeraj Singh who were warmly welcomed with a token of appreciation and mementos by Director Sir Shri Somesh Rishi Pathak and Principal Ma'am Mrs Rooma Pathak. The Meet was declared open by the Director Sir after the robust redention of Shiv Stuti and unspoken coordination reflected in the March past by all the dedicated players of the CBSE zones.
All the contingents then solemnly took the Oath of Allegiance, promising to abide by all the rules to ensure smooth conduct throughout the championship finally followed by the National Anthem.
Thus, the prestigious championship started with promising and encouraging note.

Under the project ZERO HUNGER of SDG-2, MMPS observes zero hunger for the community every second Friday of the month by contributing freshly made ‘Rotis’ to Roti Bank.
To create awareness among all the students of class II -VIII about the importance of food as a basic need in life and to make them realize how important even a one-time meal is, they were made to distribute chapatis with vegetable to the needy on 23rd December 2022. All the students and teachers brought two freshly made chapatis for the ‘ROTI BANK’ from their home for needy and underprivileged.
Students keenly participated in this concern and were deeply connected with the hunger-affected people. They actively participated and raised their hands in unity to help the deprived ones by providing them fresh food with their own helping hands.
Students of Class 7th & 11th prepared a ‘Wall of expression’ on the theme G-20 and displayed it in the special assembly conducted on 22nd December 2022. They also talk about G-20 and the India’s presidency which India is holding from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023. They gave information that 43 Heads of Delegations- the largest ever in G20-will be participating in the final New Delhi Summit in September next year. Sanvi of class XI explained the theme of India’s G-20 Presidency which is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ or ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’ that closely ties with LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment).

Christmas is for joy for giving and sharing for laughter for coming together with family and friends.
The school wore a festive look with bells, gifts and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree on December 23rd, i.e. Friday. Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees, Hand printing in Christmas tree, Headgear of reindeer, Christmas wrathwrath. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus.
The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. The essence of Christmas came alive when Santa Clause himself went into the classes. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them. The delightful celebration included children coming in red and white colour party dress, bringing their favourite food in the lunch, dancing and sharing the merriment together.
"Let's have music for Christmas, blow the 🎺 trumpet of joy & rebirth; Let each one of us, with a song in our hearts 💕come together & rejoice the birth of Jesus Christ."
To teach children about the spirit of Christmas and inculcate the values of joy and sharing, students from classes II to V had a special assembly on 23rd December 2022.
The ambience was decorated with colourful balloons, wreaths, and lights. A small skit was put up showcasing the birth of Jesus followed by Christmas carols. The Choir group sang happy carols. The questionnaire to the audience ensured the learning about Jesus’ sacrifice. The students shared gifts and spread goodness and cheers making the day divine and festive.
The celebration made all students merry and cheerful.
