Educational excursions play a vital role in shaping a student’s holistic development by offering opportunities to explore new places, connect with nature, appreciate diverse cultures, and build essential life skills such as teamwork, confidence, and independence. With this objective, students of MMPS set off on a thrilling excursion to Jim Corbett and Nainital from 2nd to 4th October 2025.
The school group, accompanied by teachers, stayed at the Resort in Ramnagar, surrounded by lush greenery and tranquility of nature. They visited Hanuman Dham Temple and Jim Corbett Museum, where students gained valuable insights into India’s wildlife heritage and inspiring life of the legendary conservationist, Jim Corbett. As a part of jungle safari, travelling in jeeps through the dense forest, students witnessed the breathtaking beauty of wilderness. They spotted herds of deer and various bird species along the trails. Later, the group visited Girija Devi Temple, uniquely set upon a massive rock in the middle of River Kosi. Students also visited the charming hill station of Nainital, where they enjoyed boating on the serene Naini Lake, strolled along the Mall Road, and explored vibrant local markets. The refreshing mountain air and picturesque views made the experience truly memorable.
During leisure hours, students relaxed by the pool, exercised in the Gym, relished delicious meals, and danced joyfully during lively evening gatherings at the resort. The excursion turned out to be a perfect blend of adventure, fun, and experiential learning.
