The Denim Revive Story: Upscaling Entrepreneurship Skills

To promote sustainability and inspire the society to reuse and recreate the old denims to produce things like bags, pouches, wallets and various accessories like key-chains etc.the students of Class XI put up an awareness exhibition during PTM in school.

They showcased the handcrafted material and sold some self made nutritious eatables. They earned money and improved their entrepreneurship skills and created awareness to reuse, recycle and revive. Parents and teachers showed overwhelming response by buying the revived products and eatables.

came out to be the shining stars by depicting spectacular performance in the Inter-School Competitions-'Technophilia 4.0' presented by Mamta Modern School.

Disha of class IX got first position in Reel Insights, Mayank Mishra of class XI got first position in Tech Adept 2.0 and Riddhi Kamal of class V bagged the third position in the competition named 'Turning trash to Treasure'by proving their worth and talent in the competitions.

Reverend Principal Ma'am, Mrs Rooma Pathak congratulated the winners and wished them success for their future ventures.

Special Assembly on Celebration of Dussehra Festival

To celebrate the victory of good over evil, the Dussehra festival was celebrated in a special assembly on Friday, 20 October 2023.

The assembly commenced with melodious and devotional songs sung by the choir of pre-primary and primary followed by a recital of a poem that beautifully captured the essence of the festival. To further enhance their knowledge about the festival of Dussehra, the students of the pre-primary and primary wings not only enthusiastically participated in an enriching quiz but also narrated the story of Lord Rama. A vibrant and energetic group dance performance depicting the life of Lord Rama was followed by an impactful PPT. Effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Meghnath were burnt by the honorable Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Rooma Pathak who also gave the message to message of benevolence, peace, and love to wipe out hatred from the society.

Thus, the special assembly not only gave the students the opportunity to showcase their talent but also fostered unity, instilled traditional values, and inspired them to carry these values forward to lead righteous lives.

National Unity Day

National Unity Day

To commemorate the occasion of National Unity Day and celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, National Unity Day was celebrated on Tuesday, 31 October 2023 in the school premises.

The day began with a Special Morning Assembly by the students of class V which started with a patriotic song and a poem. This was followed by a speech and an enthralling Nukkad Natak (Street Play) giving a message of 'United we stand, divided we fall’. To enhance the knowledge of students and raise awareness among the masses, a Unity Run at Sheesh Mahal (Heritage Monument) in Shalimar Bagh was organised for classes V and VI. The visit was a delightful blend of learning and fun where multiple facts and information about unity and its importance were shared through public interactions and the Nukkad Natak. A solemn pledge was taken by all the students in the school to preserve unity and foster security and integrity in the country.

Thus, the celebration was a resounding success and showcased the incredible talents and enthusiasm of the students. It was a true reflection of our commitment to uphold the principles of unity, harmony, and diversity in our everyday lives.

Halloween Day, a global festival, was celebrated with much fun and fanfare by the pals of Pre-Primary Department on October 30, 2023.

The children were dressed up as Spooky Pumpkins, Scare Crow, Skeleton, Zombies, Spider, Ghost, Vampire and Witches.

They did a zombie walk and danced with bang to the songs of Halloween.

There was an excitement all around and the day ended with the little ones relishing their Halloween Treats.

56th Youth Parliament Competition 2023-24

“A functioning, robust democracy requires a healthy, educated, participatory followership, and an educated, morally grounded leadership.”

An initiative of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India and Directorate of Education ,GNCT was promoted through conducting 56th Youth Parliament Competition on 6th November, 2023 in the school premises .The esteemed guests Mr. Bratin Sengupta, Ex-MP, Rajya Sabha; Mr. Ved Prakash Singh, DDE Zone XII; Dr. Yogesh Kumar OSD, Zone XII ,Directorate of Education and Md. Asadullah, Section officer ,Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs were warmly welcomed by honourable Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak with a token of appreciation after the lamp lightning ceremony.

The students from classes IX to XI participated in the 56th Youth Parliament Competition which consisted of various legislative businesses. The parliamentary session was followed by the address to the students by the evaluators who appreciated the efforts of the participants followed by the announcement of best speaker.

Growing Up Life Skills - A Teacher Induction-cum-Training program

A teacher Induction-cum-training program ‘The Bird and Bees Training’ (TBBT) conducted on 30th October 2023 at NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi, was attended by facilitator Ms. Anjali Arora. The curriculum training focused around five core principles of the programme – Inclusion, Awareness, Consent, Equity and Protection. The training also laid stress upon the  Government of India’s initiatives on adolescent’s health and global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)s 3, 4 and 5 and 17, as a vital step to inculcate the curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum Framework, Adolescence Education Program Framework and New Education Policy 2020 by the Prime Minister of India. The induction was to equip teachers and educators with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver comprehensive Life skills Curriculum to students.

Prestigious CBSE Central Zone Tennis Championship 2023-24 of Delhi region and NCR was successfully hosted from

26 October to 30 October 2023 by the school.

The Closing Ceremony of the five-day CBSE Central Zone Tennis Championship concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony on Monday 30 October 2023 in M.M. Public School, Pitampura, Delhi. All the following four categories i.e. Under -17 Girls, Under- 17 Boys, Under-19 Girls, and Under-19 boys were awarded Trophies and Certificates on the basis of their splendid performance by the CBSE Observer Sir Mr. Rajneesh Kalia, Director of Sports, Yamuna Nagar, John Massey and Deepak Thapa, SAI Officials along with Honorable Director Sir Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and esteemed Principal Ma'am Mrs. Rooma Pathak who were also warmly welcomed with a token of appreciation.

The five-day (26 October to 30 October 2023) CBSE  CENTRAL ZONE  TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 was inaugurated by our Revered Director Sir Shri Somesh Rishi Pathak and our Honorable Principal Ma’am Mrs. Rooma Pathak  on Thursday, 26 October 2023. They motivated all 1500 participants from over 90 schools from Delhi region to play the Under 19 Boys/Girls and Under 17 Boys/Girls competitions with enthusiasm and good sportsmanship. Thus, the event was proclaimed open.
