A prize distribution ceremony was organized on 19th September 2017, on 23rd World Ozone day at Stein auditorium, convention Centre, India Habitat Centre, Lodi road, New Delhi. On 30th August 2017 the Art & Craft club organized different activity on ?The Preservation of the Ozone layer. Students participated enthusiastically in the activities and out of them, few posters were sent to the Environment office. About 13 Thousand schools comprising about 28 lakh students sent their entries. Piyush Gupta of class VIII brought laurels to the school by achieving cash prize, a memento and a certificate of honor by the chief guest ? Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Hon?ble Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate change, Government of India. Other important dignitaries Mr. Gyanesh Bharti, Joint Secretary, MoEF & CC , Mr. Gilbert M. bankobeza, chief, legal affairs and compliance, secretariat for the Vienna convention, Mr. Yuri Afanasiev. UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in India, Mr. Atul Bagai, Senior regional network coordinator, Compliance Assistance Programme, UN Environment, Bangkok,  Dr. Ajay Mathur, Director General, The Energy and Resources Institute, Mr, Anil Kumar Jain, Additional Secretary, MoEF & CC were present there to make the moment memorable.

Tittle : English calligraphy activity for Mont students

Calligraphy is an art that just about anyone can do it simply means writing beautifully. 

Keeping this aim in mind and to encourage students to write neatly, a Calligraphy competition was organized on September 14, 2017 in pre-primary classes. Students learned to write capital A to Z and Small Cursive a to z in calligraphy format and how to present the content in proper manner.

Tittle : Grandparents Day Celebration by Mont students

Grandparents play an imperative role in the life of every child. They are the child?s support and their best friend. Grandparents pamper the kids more than the parents themselves and leave a lasting impression in their life. So to honour them, tiny tots of MMPS celebrated grandparent?s day on September 13, 2017 by making beautiful greeting cards for their grandparents. Kids were told to dress up like their grandparents, which they proudly carry and act like their grandparents too. Teachers also narrated stories related to the importance of Grandparents in their life.

Whole day was spent with lot of activities and not only students but teachers too tool home the everlasting experiences. 

Tittle : Days of the Week activity for Mont students

Teaching kids the days of the week doesn?t need to be a huge event. It?s about creating a daily rhythm, especially at school and home.  So to enhance the knowledge of the kids regarding this concept, a show and tell activity has been organized in the pre-primary classes on September 01, 2017. In this activity students recited a rhyme related to the Days of a Week.

Our Basket Ball team gave spectacular performance at basket ball zonal tournament held at Bal Bharti public school Pitampura from 22nd  to 24th August 2017 and bagged following positions:-







Tittle : Achievement in Hand Ball Zonal Competition

It was a moment of immense pleasure when following students of our school achieved different positions in Hand ball Zonal Tournament held from 28th to 30th August, 2017 at Sarvodhya Vidayala FU-Block, Pitampura, Delhi.

In SENIOR GIRLS category our team got 3rd Position

In JUNIOR GIRLS category our team got 3rd Position

Tittle : Teachers Day Celebration

Teachers are the candles that burn to remove the darkness from the path of Student

Teacher?s Day was organized with incredible gusto and zeal on 5th September in the school to honour the teachers for their endless efforts to illuminate society with the lantern of Education. Presence of Honourable Director Sir, Mr. Somesh Rishi Pathak and revered Principal Madam, Mrs. Rooma Pathak added more colour to the occasion. The nostalgic speech by the Director Sir and best wishes from Principal Madam enhanced the spirits of the teachers to be more dedicated and laborious. The moment became more exciting when Best Teachers Award was presented to the teachers Mrs. Sandhya Sharma, Mrs. Kiran, Mrs. Anju Khurana, and Ms. Poonam by Principal Madam and Director Sir. Students acting as a teacher also honoured the teachers with bouquet and cards. The auspicious day ended with delightful cuisine.

Tittle : Activity on Protection of Ozone Layer by Art & Craft Club

Art and Craft Club organized an activity on the Protection of Ozone Layer in the school premises on 30th Aug 2017 where young artists of Art and Craft Club filled the whole atmosphere with the vibrant colors by making Paintings and Posters and writing Slogan with great enthusiasm.

Students not only gained knowledge about the causes of Ozone layer depletion and how to protect it but also were motivated to make others aware too. They were appreciated by Principal madam for their creativity and sensitivity about the cause.

Students carried home the confidence that they can really protect the Ozone layer and save our mother Earth from the causes of Global Warming. 

Tittle : Independence Movement by Art & Craft club

Art and Craft Club organized an activity on the topic- Independence Movement in the school premises on 25th August 2017. All the club students participated and filled the whole atmosphere with the vibrant colors. These Young Artists made poster on Independence movement with great enthusiasm. During this activity student has learnt a lot about the Independence movement and their understanding was clearly shown in the posters. The activity was successfully completed by students and well appreciated by principal madam.

Tittle : Tree Plantation Activity by ECO Club

Tree Plantation was conducted by Eco Club with the help of voluntary organization NGO We PLANT on 24th August 24, 2017. Students of classes VII and VIII participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. A number of fruit tree saplings were planted in the school campus and the students were motivated by the resource person Mr. Jacob Messey who guided them how to save every fruit seed possible and to plant them not only in their school but at public places so that fruits are available to the poor who can't afford them. Students were also motivated to save any fruit seeds like mango, neem, jamun etc and deposit them in Seed Banks. All in all it was enriching activity.
